We loved the character of this apartment- it’s so cozy, yet very spacious too! It’s close to so many places to eat and shop- if you like walking, it’s a beautiful walk down to the harbor and marina. Just walking anywhere around Marquette is lovely. The leaves were amazing! So many hiking trails to drive to. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again! Thank you Carrie!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Carrie's place is close to everything, it was easy to walk or bike to the lake or places to eat. The apartment was lovely and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. Bonus: seating on the front porch. We'd definitely stay here again!

This place was close to downtown bars and restaurants. The house is charming and the beds were amazingly comfortable. I love the quirk of the clawfoot tub and the house was decorated with care. Great place!

This place gets 5 stars because it’s 100% as advertised. Great location, fast responsiveness of host, clean and all the basics you need. Some good things to be aware of in this vintage/eclectic place as others have stated are that in the bathroom, the claw tub/shower is a bit hard to reach (both for those that are mobility and height challenged) plus there were 3 of us and one bath towel per person for our stay; plenty of wash cloths. For the bedrooms, note there is no A/C or darkening shades. Great bars, bakeries and bike paths nearby. Enjoy!

Overall, we were satisfied with the stay. There was enough space for us and it was great being so close to everything.

As advertised; great location, clean, nice linens and other basics, NO old house smell or allergens (I’m sensitive to both), quiet, comfy beds, basic kitchen supplies, plenty of space, good wifi. Good communication w/ host. One specific note for the mobility challenged. The shower is inside the claw foot tub. Getting in and out could be a difficult.

Exactly what we were looking for. Close walk to downtown or a quick bike ride to Blackrocks or Mtn biking trails. I would definitely rent this property again. The owner was very nice. I wish we would have done one more night.

What a great location in Marquette! The place comfortable fit our family and it was great to have a fridge and kitchen to store food. We loved being close to Black Rocks Brewing, Third Street Bagel and Contrast Coffee. Split a sampler of Kombucha at Superior Culture located down a few blocks. Highly recommend renting bikes from MQT Bikes which is just two blocks away. They were great to work with and accommodate us last minute. We had a great bike ride along the lakeshore of Marquette to Presque Isle.

Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The house had everything we needed and was perfect to walk to downtown to avoid the nightmare of finding parking. Our daughter even took in a college visit at NMU. The hosts supplied everything we needed and were quick to return messages. Definitely recommend for those who enjoy vacationing in the city.

It is an excellent place to stay. If I could give it more stars I would. Close to everything you'd want. Bagel shop just a few steps. The ice cream shop 2 blocks up. Nice shops along the next block. Eating places within walking. I was impressed with cleanliness of the hose. Everything you'd need to cook was available for use.

This is a perfect spot for exploring downtown Marquette. The property is a wonderful historic home, and the host is wonderful.
