We loved everything about this house! Bright and comfortable with a charming yard, well-appointed kitchen, and very comfortable. Location is great, only steps from the beach and a short drive into town. Laura was an excellent host. We'll be back!

We LOVED it here. The cottage has everything you might need inside and out. Super comfy and welcoming. The outdoor space is lovely to hang out in. Nice and private w/pretty garden plantings...and close enough to the beach that you can hear the waves.

This is a lovely house and we really enjoyed our stay! Two adults and three kids ages 3-8. The house is set up perfectly and the kitchen in particular had everything we needed to prepare meals for the adults and kids. Highly recommend!

Our first visit to Ventura definitely will nit be our last. The property is adorable. Laura has thought of every last detail. Kitchen is better stocked than most homes. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Beach right at the end of the block. Didn't want to leave.

Laura is a great host and provided not only excellent real-time communication, but her instructions and agreements ticked all my boxes for things that make me feel secure and happy about renting from someone. Anyone who takes such good care for information and demonstrates reliability will get my business! Is this THE best rental I have ever stayed at? No…but I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Super clean space and easy to keep it that way. All the things you might want. We did not open shed to use any supplies there, but within the house there are more than ample needs met. The layout made it feel much larger than it is, and though we were only three adults, I could easily see up to six folks enjoying this space. The quick and easy access to a very quiet beach was super nice and what brings this home to the forefront. Late afternoon, early evening walks along the beach were fabulous. Proximity and ease of getting around the area make this home outstanding. Carport in the back lets one avoid the schoolchildren on the front facing street, and makes for a super private feeling and entrance. The exterior space is sweet, the interior, awesome - the color schemes are so relaxing and easy on the eyes. Thank you, Laura, for being such a great host!

My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The neighborhood is really quiet and cute, and the beach is just a block away. The house itself is very clean and has everything you could need for a perfect stay. We and our dogs loved sitting on the deck in the sun, as well as exploring the neighborhood (the little village of Pierpont and Marina Park - all walkable). The owner was easy to communicate with and she obviously takes great care of this beach house. Highly recommend!

This property is absolutely perfect. The house is beautifully updated and is well stocked. It is walking distance to the beach. The house has plenty of space and several outdoor seating areas. We really like staying at this beach house.

This is a very comfortable and cozy place to stay. Everything in the house is easy to find and easy to use. Laura (owner) is fantastic at comunicating and is very sweet. The house is very close to the beach and (even though it was January) we walked down to the beach (and on the beach) several times a day because it was so close. Would definitely stay here again!

Honestly, there was nothing not to like about this property. The grounds were lovely, the house was like new, warm water in the shower right away (I don't even have that in my own house), comfy beds, soft water, walking distance to beach. By far the nicest home we've rented.

This is a charming beach cottage. It was clean, perfectly furnished, and appointed with everything I needed. The patio was beautiful and private. A perfect retreat!

Home has everything you could want or need. The outdoor deck is an oasis and love morning coffee and evening wind down out there. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen…all high end finishes including Fiesta Ware dishes! Our 3rd trip to this property. Quick hop to the beach. Everything!

This was a great beach house. Close to the beach with ample parking space. Very clean. Large living area and kitchen. Many items supplied to enjoy a fun day at the beach. A wonderful host was the icing on the cake. I would not hesitate to return!

This isn’t our first rental by far, there have been many. But this house is at the top of our list. We loved riding the provided beach cruisers in shed and taking them down to the marina park. Time spent at the beach was just beautiful and so close! Not super overcrowded like most beaches. Loved having some of our family over at the house this Sunday for my husbands birthday. And spending time out on the beautiful deck with all the very well thought of plants and flowers. Anyway, if your still on the fence about renting this getaway…Do yourself a favor and rent it!
