Very fresh and comfy rooms. Everything looks and feels very nice! Beds and pillows were really good. Owners are very helpful and reachable. Breakfast is lovingly packed and waiting in the morning.

We didn't realize that the reception is not there all the time, but a short phone call fixed everything.

Location is not the best but it has parking spots and close tram stop to get you anywhere in the city.

The location was very close to the city centre if you enjoy walking - approx. 3km from Slotskoggan and 4km from Haga, which for someone who enjoys walking a city like me was good, with a decent walk through Gothenburg getting to enjoy some residential streets before hitting the main city. Being away from the main city also meant it was quiet. For those who might not wish to walk, there was a tram/bus stop very close by, and the hosts were very willing to assist with travel directions/support had I needed them. The room was very spacious with a good sized bathroom and plenty of room for bags without tripping over things, and a good sized desk for laptop use. The breakfast bag was very good, and handy coming as a bag which could be collected from the kitchen when ready for it rather than being at a set service time - this provided a lot of flexibility (I personally am not a big breakfast eater so being able to have this slightly later for brunch was much better for me). I drove from the UK to Goteborg and fell asleep very quickly on arrival as a result, the beds were comfortable enough to keep me asleep until my alarm the next morning.

Absolutely everything. It was so well maintained and modern. Very nice bathroom and the bed was wonderful. Beautiful area and yummy breakfast. I could not be more satisfied. Also the wifi was flawless. Super happy.

… The contents of the breakfast bag was disappointing. Too little and on the cheap end for the price of the room overall. Access to a bit of fresh fruit and a bit more sustaining foods would have made a big difference :)

Very clean and comfortable room, ideal for one person, everything I needed was there. Location seems to be far away from city center on paper, but is very close to the train station and the connection to the city as well as to the beach(es) and the archipelago is great! The host was very nice and accommodating, and gave great recommendations. Kitchen (with fridge, drins/coffee, but no oven) can be used freely at any time of the day. There's a small outside area available to sit. A couple of restaurants which are open until up to 22:00 are nearby. Overall, it was a great stay - perfect value for money - I would return!

Outside of the room, there isn't much space to dwell in, rather small kitchen (there's space for 6-7 people), so if other travelers are already having lunch or breakfast there, you won't have a lot of privacy while eating. On the flip side, you can use kitchen + fridge at any time of the day. :)

Friendly hospitality. Reasonable price. Renovated clean room and private toilet. Location on the way to Saltholm islands, tram 9 and 11. Very comfortable and reasonable stay in Goteborg.

Check-in time is 3-4PM.

The owner is very nice and helpful! It is very easy to get there by public transport. Clean and cute place with a lot of light

The breakfast is ok but boring and repetitive

I really liked that I could eat breakfast whenever I wanted to because there weren’t strict hours like in the most expensive hotels. I really liked that I had possibility to enjoy coffee and tea in room and I hadn’t to buy it in city centre where this would be very expensive.

The hosts are easy to reach even though there is no front counter in the bnb. Usually hotels charge for extra services which I don’t need. Thus the price of villa Kungssten is right fit for me as a solo traveler.

The curtains cannot fully block the light from outside. The heater is not working during May but the linens are warm.

I would highly recommend the accomodation to everyone, our stay at Villa Kungssten was absolutely amazing. The house is nice, clean, with new furniture, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, free acces to the kitchen and tour guides available in English or Sweden. Location is great, not in the city center with lots of people and noise, but near the tram station with very good access to the center, as well as the harbour and the southern archipelago, which really worth the visit. Staff of the Villa Kungssten was quite friendly and helpful, they gave us an advice in everything we needed, if we were missing something, which was not available at the moment, they did not hesitate to bring it to the house in few minutes. I was really happy that we have found that accomodation and I hope I would be able to come back again.

Great location for getting back on the road early. Walking distance to a few nice restaurants too.

Lack of working TV channels. Think I could get two to work.
