The room was spotless-I don't think anyone stayed there before. However-the kitchen was not well equipped. The toaster electric cord didnt even reach far enough for the one outlet. Didnt seem that the staff realized this and had to find me an extension cord to use it. The shower was impossible to figure out getting the hot water on. The hand held removal shower head would not stay up-it faced down. the lobby coffee they boasted about was awful-cold and old. The street view overlooked street construcion and even without that-the street looked dark and gritty-unattractive.

Family friendly, great location next to Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, great stores and restaurants. Staff great, laundry facilities easy to use.

Needs soundproofed windows. More amenities in bathroom (shampoo and soaps), more towels and extra linens.

Very clean and comfortable, near the center

We been in a two bedrooms apartment with double shower/toilets. The apartment is brand new with all the facilities. The kitchen contains all the cooking tools. The air conditioning was excellent, quiet and cool well even during very high heat. Windows have double glazing with very good noise isolation.. Location is premium, a small street in the center. Everything is a few minutes walk excluding Ritero park and Pardo museum. A metro station is a 3 minutes walk..

The location is excellent. It is a short walk to Plaza Mayor and to Plaza de la Puerta del Sol (and thus to the Sol metro/train station). The bathroom is spacious and the shower was enclosed and has good showerheads. The sitting area was spacious. The mattress was firm and comfortable and the pillows and bedding felt clean and new. It was really nice to have the kitchenette to make coffee and breakfast in the mornings, and having a big fridge was really nice. The room seemed newly renovated and was very clean. The closets were ample and had lots of hangers.

There is no charm at all. The couch is beige plether. The curtains and floors are beige and the walls are white. There were a couple of throw pillows on the bed that had an understated design, and two pictures on the walls, but overall it was very beige and boring.

The location of the hotel was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Literally best place I’ve seen in Madrid center. Highly recommending New Point Opera for those who’re travelling to Madrid..

The property was located right in the centre of Madrid, it is the perfect place to explore Madrid from. Our apartment was a good size for our group of 6. I highly recommend this property. The staff were friendly.

It was a good location and good for a family.

The staff was very courteous. On check out day, I really appreciated how they allowed the guests to keep suitcases in a safe room until you were ready to leave the city. Also, it's in a fantastic location and impeccably clean. The beds were also very comfy.

I do not have even 1 negative comment.

A wonderful find in central Madrid, a walk away from everywhere. We will be back. Large, clean room. Very pleasant staff. Cannot fault it. You can organise your own breakfast in your room or have coffee in Reception. Free coffee and wine available throughout the day.

The wifi on the ground floor is terrible, which was made worse by the poor cell signal on Orange’s network. I had to step outside to make phone calls.

We had a poorly-designed apartment, allegedly able to accommodate four people, but struggling to accommodate two. Let me say immediately that its position is absolutely first rate, only 200-300 metres from Plaça Mayor, and was a key factor that we would like to emphasise to all that read this. It is also - oddly enough - good value for money. The reception and common areas are nicely renovated and present well. If I ask myself the critical question: would I stay again? Not in the room I had - 1H - but if there was a superior level quality room that was quiet, I would certainly stay again

The apartments have been created out of an older building, and I cannot speak for superior quality rooms, having been moved to the one we had as I emphasised the need for quiet (and it was). The square metres calculation is misleading because there is an eight square metre corridor squeezing the apartment into a kind pair of dumbbells. The effective living area is tiny, with no room for anything. My wife’s suitcase filled the tiny gap between her bed and a large unnecessarily so) cupboard. Mine was placed on the lounge seat in the minuscule kitchen, dining and lounge area. Tiresomely, there was no place to leave your toiletry bag in the bathroom, and mine found a place in the kitchen. The refrigerator was fine, and the miniscule cooktop I guess tried its hardest. For the two people, there was a tiny circular table easily crowded by breakfast items, whilst the TV in that part of the house faced the corridor. The TV in the bedroom had no channels other than Spanish ones. In summary, cramped and very difficult, but, when lined up with the very reasonable tariff, that discomfort was largely matched by some reduced tariff pain. The staff were mainly very young and affable people, but on arrival, the person In reception did not offer to help my tiny 38.4kg wife with her heavy bag, watching her struggle and struggle trying to bring it in from a difficult stopping place (six cars behind waiting for us)
