This property was ideal for hosting a large group. The kitchen, dining, and gathering areas were large, comfortable, and perfect for eating and socializing after a great ski day. The house was clean and well-stocked with all the essentials that no one remembers to bring - aluminum foil, garbage bags, etc. The property owner was amazing to work with - communication was great and she was responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend this property for groups looking to spend time together in the Adirondacks! Thank you!

Just had 4 days and 3 night with 30 family members from 14 months to 71 years old and Moose was EXACTLY what we were looking for! Multiple bunking houses to accommodate small families, multiple people of just couples - it worked perfect for our group! We booked about 9 months ago and Amy was great with her communication and help from day one of booking through the day we left. Thank you Amy!

We had a group of 20 friends and family from ages 21-67. The property was perfect for or get together. Amy was nothing but accommodating to the needs of our group. Guys are already talking about next year. I highly recommend this property for larger groups.

The house was awesome and perfect for the 16 people we had. Tons of space and plenty of beds. The kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor fire pit area was fantastic for a nightcap. Would 100% recommend for bigger groups!

Had my bachelor party there recently and the property was perfect for our get together. We had a fairly large group attending and the property was a blast. We had more than enough space to hang out, spent a ton of time at the fire pit, and everyone had their own bed to sleep in which was incredible. Amy was super responsive, helped out with any questions we had leading up to it, and we left wanting to plan another trip to the area.

Fantastic experience. Property has everything we could need for a wonderful getaway to the Lake George area. Amy is wonderful to work with - open, clear communication; great response time; super helpful. Very much looking forward to staying next year!

This was the perfect place for a long getaway weekend with a family of 19. It’s never easy to find something to accommodate a large group. This private estate was just right for us with plenty of room for all. The sleeping quarters were comfy and clean. The host was very responsive and made our stay pleasant. The layout of the main house is perfect with large gathering rooms. The cleanliness of all the houses was superb. Would definitely recommend this property for a trip to the Adirondack.

You'll not find a cleaner place to stay. Home with character and updates. We had a family reunion which fit 16-20 of us, all comfortably and privately. A/c in upstairs was in hall but worked for all 3 bedrooms. We did ALOT of cooking and did not lack one item, even BBQ tools-which we used on the grill and ice cream scoop. There was an abundance of serving dishes. Great coffee pot and keurig. And Amy even left kitchen items like coffee and sugar. Super stay.

We rented this property for a big family trip and it was amazing! The property was so clean and well maintained. It was so nice to come back to the house afer a long hike. Amy was also so great. She was super easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we would need for the weekend. My one complaint is that I wish it wasnt so far from me so I could visit more often!

We had a group of 12 couples and everyone had their own bedrooms. The property is rustic and cozy, everyone loved the layout and it had plenty of space for us to gather and enjoy meals together. There was a great firepit that we got to enjoy after our day of white water rafting on the Hudson river. The owner Amy was very friendly and a joy to deal with. Hope to get back there again, possibly in the winter for a snowmobile trip!

This rental property is exactly as described and pictured - extremely spacious, private and welcoming. It is rare to find a space that can host larger groups and we really appreciated Amy and Moose for hosting us over Labor Day weekend. It’s perfect for a large group to stay with comfortable and clean lodging to spread out as well as plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Amy is extremely communicative, responsive and reasonable. She provided great flexibility in finalizing dates and numbers for our group ahead of the trip, as well as some great local suggestions. Would definitely recommend Moose to any groups looking to stay in the area !

Our weekend at Moose was great but for the final night. Prior to arriving, Amy was communicative and helpful with directions & planning for our large group. We explained early that we had folks driving from all over and that #s would vary each night (we had 11 people on the 1st night, 14 the 2nd and 13 the 3rd). Amy was clear that the property was capable of hosting our group and clarified it was not a “crash and trash” rental which we understood and respected. Upon arriving the house was everything she described. We had plenty of space for everyone and the living room was very accommodating for our group. Amy was also able to provide us with firewood at an extra cost for a fire pit that had tons of seating. Some things I wish I knew before arriving to the property (not deal breakers but informative for future guests): we had no cell service which did challenge communication (the wifi worked well in the main living room of the house though, even with many devices), and most importantly the entire exterior of the house has security cameras set up. We understand a need to protect the property but would have appreciated a heads up. On our final night we received communication from Amy stating that her neighbor/business partner claimed to have seen us bring 20+ people into the house and that we had broken our rental agreement. This claim stemmed from the amount of cars we had on the property, a result of our group coming from different places for the weekend. After hours of communication with both VRBO and Amy we were able to come to a resolution that we (the group) were satisfied with and Amy was also satisfied with. However, this spent time and associated stress ruined the last night of an otherwise great weekend. We were caught off guard by the false claim and thought that the question could have been easily approached and resolved if not initially handled in an accusatory manner. We would have welcomed Amy visiting the property to check on #s or check the cameras to make sure the rental agreement really was broken. Amy did mention that they recently had issues with guests bringing extra people in and apologized for the misunderstanding afterwards. While we appreciated that, we were left with a bad taste in our mouths & don't plan to return to Moose. I really wish I had a better ending to this story as we did enjoy our first two nights at the house. My advice to future guests is to let Amy know number of cars ahead of time to avoid this.

My family and I booked Moose Lodge for my son’s wedding in late July & the Moose Lodge blew our expectations out of the water! The property, houses, and cabins were absolulely beautiful and easily held all 25 of us! It was extremely clean when we checked in & Amy was so easy to get a hold of if needed. We will never forget our stay here and we couldn’t recommend it enough!

Our family gathers from across the country once every few years and Moose Mountain Lodge was a nearly perfect location! With 17 people, ranging from a toddler to senior citizens, the space comfortable housed us all. The spacious common area was great for socializing and their was a good supply of cooking equipment. The grounds were well kept (but be aware of the deer flies). Also, if you have a large enough group to use the bunkhouse, the stairs up to the second level are EXTREMELY steep so we would recommend not planning on anyone sleeping up there up there who has difficulty walking. Final note: Make sure everyone in your groups follows the driving directions provided by the host ahead of time (don't wait until the last minute to pass this on). If you enter the address listed into Google Maps, it takes you to the wrong driveway, quite a bit south of the actual one. Most of our family did not have cell phone service through their providers while driving on this street, so it led to some confusion and late arrivals. Overall, this was a spectacular location to gather and a reasonable distance away from a wide variety of activities for the entire family. The host was very attentive and responded quickly to all questions. We'd highly recommend it!

We had a family reunion here after a stressful time in our lives, and this property was a perfect place for everyone to unwind, connect, relax, and enjoy each others’ company. The property was one of the most clean rentals I have ever encountered. Amy was friendly and responsive. There is plenty to do in the area. I highly recommend this property.

This was the best vacation ever!

Rental and all went smoothly. Very quiet out of the way location and was perfect for our energetic group to unwind. Everything we needed for our stay was there when we arrived. A big winter storm occurred when we were to leave but our host was happy to let us stay until it was safe to leave which was very much appreciated.

Moose is a little slice of heaven. Incredibly clean. We had 18 people very comfortable here. The kitchen had very thing we needed to be able to serve meals, plenty of towels in the bathrooms and space to move around. Fire pit had plenty of seating. Amy is a delight to work with. Highly recommend Moose for your stay.

Amy was so helpful throughout the whole stay. We had such a blast! The houses were clean and beds were comfortable. The property is fantastic and the fire pit is huge! Can’t wait to come back!

We rented Amy’s property for my brother’s bachelor party and it could not have been more perfect! There was 12 of us in total and everyone had their own bed. The property is huge and spacious for yard games. You will definitely have privacy during your stay. The house is a bit remote and the road to the house can be tough to navigate. Cell service is extremely limited but the WiFi throughout the property was fast and had a solid connection everywhere. Lake George is only 30-mins from the property if you want to plan a night out on the town. Be aware ride-sharing services do not operate in the area of the property and the closest taxi we could find was an hour away so you will need to drive your group yourself. Amy was a delight and easy to contact the entire trip. She helped us with any problem we had and answered any question about the area. You won’t regret booking this property!

Property was very well maintained older property that has been upgraded. Public spaces were very well appointed. Due to the age of the structure, some of the bedrooms were small.

I stayed here with a bunch of people for a bachelor party. It wasn’t easy find a place for this many people and this place easily accommodated us. Very spacious and very clean. Everything about it was exactly as described. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay whether it a family reunion, some kind of special weekend or just a place to get away with a large group.

The location was perfect for our group and all the teens had an absolute blast. The property is clean and well manicured. Amy the owner is an absolute sweetheart who made our visit very welcoming. She was available and attentive for every little thing we could possibly need and was extremely helpful in giving us ideas and suggestions about area activities with detailed directions and all. She was also open and appreciative of feedback on a few things that could enhance the already charming property. I would definitely go back at some point in the future.
