Well set up for guests. Great location, beautiful view of the Gulf and the Sound. Kitchen pretty much had everything needed. Only complaint was very uncomfortable mattress on each bed, and too many throw pillows.

Stayed for a week with my family and a group of friends. Mary was very helpful, acommadating, and kind. We had the best view and everything we needed from paper towels to laundry detergent was provided. 3rd time staying at Portofino island and 2nd time at this particular condo.

Great resort if you want to stay on property for most of your trip. Bar and restaurant on site, shop with Starbucks and common needed items available. If you do want to take a short ride to town, Flonders is the best seafood around! Plenty of activities to get into as well.

This is my second time staying at the Portofino Resort. My husband and I enjoyed our stay despite the rainy weather. The condo is spacious and comfortable, with an amazing unobstructed view. You just can't beat the imenities, spa, indoor and out door pool(s), pool side bar and onsite resturant.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay - the sunrise was so beautiful we found ourselves waking early just so we wouldn't miss it! The location is so convenient and great amenities! This was not our first stay at Portofino, and I hope it won't be our last. Would stay in this unit again.

The resort has so much to do, the view is amazing, and the proximity to Opal Beach and all that Pensacola beach has to offer make this a terrific getaway location. Hosts communicated very well and made sure we had all we needed.

Beautiful property and the resort is wonderful. The view of the sunrise from the balcony is amazing. Our host Mary was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back again.

We had an amazing time!! The views are spectacular!! Watched the sun rise daily! The home was spotless!! And beautiful! We had everything we needed right at the house - kitchen supplies and beach equipment! It gave us a little extra room in the car which was greatly appreciated!! Mary was always a text away to answer questions and keep us updated! The resort was beautiful and nicely landscaped. All the staff were friendly. The beach,sound, and amenities were all within walking distance. My kids are asking when we can go back. Loved every minute!!

We have only good things to say about our vacation here!Our host was so sweet and so very helpful! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Also I love that the had a playpen for our baby. We will stay here from now on. Thank you for everything!

The views were amazing. There was ample space for everyone to move around. There was a restaurant and bar by the pool which made it nice for everyone to enjoy. They had lots of activities on the beach that you could rent and do. The beds we’re comfortable.

We had a great time and will be back again.

The condo was better than the pictures! If you are traveling with kiddos there are several items already stocked. There were three beach chairs and 6 nice sized beach towels. Boogie board, beach toys, umbrellas and a pack and play. We even played some monopoly that was there on a rainy afternoon. We didn’t have to buy dish soap, trash bags, or laundry detergent. They took care of the little things that can add up to a lot when you travel. The kitchen had everything we needed. We like gallon size baggies etc. so you would want to bring those if you needed them. The view has gorgeous sunrises and you can see the sound and the gulf. It was super quiet we never heard anyone above us or to the side. They were working on renovating a room next to us but they weren’t there when we needed quiet time. We got the adventure package, you pay for separately and enjoyed everything the resort offered for activities. Our favorite place to eat was Crabs on the Beach. The resort makes great pizzas and wings by the way. Our host Mary was helpful along the way and was available if we needed her. We would stay again for sure!

This is a wonderful property. My grandchildren enjoyed the many pools as well as the bay and gulf. The girls really loved the beautiful mermaid who was so good at engaging the children.

My wife and I vacationed here with our 18 month old and it was such a phenomenal stay! Clean, stocked, and the best views you could ask for! We woke up and watched the sunrise each morning from the balcony. Mary is an awesome property manager. She was very responsive and helpful! We would definitely recommend this place.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience. The view was astounding, beds extremely comfortable, plus they furnished just about everything you need except food and drinks. Booking and check-in were seamless and the overall property provides an abundance of activities for all ages. Never felt crowded on the beach or the pools since there are so many to choose from. We’ll be back and requesting this same unit.

Wonderful condo with a wonderful view up the island between the Gulf and Inner waterway with soft white sands on both beaches. A short 100yd walk gets you to either beach and makes for a lovely stroll.

We came to Pensacola for a long weekend. The first thing you notice upon entering the unit is the view. It’s essentially a window full of blue!! The gulf on the right and the bay on the left. No buildings in front of you!! It was so relaxing, sitting outside on your 20th floor patio! The kitchen was well stocked…we actually cooked a birthday cake. Bedrooms were comfortable and tv had all the cable channels and music we enjoy. Mary was so diligent about making sure our arrival was flawless. The resort pools were beautiful and clean. Restaurant food was good and if you have teens, they can charge everything to your room. The gym was more than we could ever ask for. We brought our tennis racquets and played tennis a few times. The beach was directly across the street, but not a hassle to get over there and not crowded. It was a terrific stay and we will definitely be back!

Loved the food and beverage service at the pool! Wonderful time with lovely customer service at every turn. We plan to stay again. Great restaurants nearby. The property manager, Mary, was very available to assist with food suggestions or whatever we requested.

It was so quiet and peaceful with fantastic views! The condo was stocked very nicely making cooking and cleaning up very easy! Mary is so great to work with and I enjoyed the entire process and our week in this condo! We will return for sure!

We had an amazing trip as always!! Morning Star is our favorite vacation destination and the grounds of the resort cannot be beat. The views are just stunning!! She is available at a moments notice for anything at all and the extra touches to Morning Star that only Mary provides are so awesome and helpful. Yet another great stay at Portofino Resort! Mary is the best host you could ask for; great communication and she is so kind and knowledgeable about the area. She keeps the unit stocked with pretty much everything you need for your stay. It's so clean and comfortable that it actually feels like a home away from home. We also like this unit because of its location and how it's situated. There's nothing between you and the best sunrises you can imagine. And in the afternoons/evenings you can sit on the patio and have a reprieve from the sun. Speaking of the patio, we decided to use the grill on this trip to cook up some delicious fresh fish/shrimp (from Joe Patti's) and it worked great. Also, don't pass up the spa services - we had an excellent couples massage on our second day that really set the tone for the trip. Five stars all the way! Thanks Mary!

We love the Portofino, have stayed here several times. This particular unit could use some updating and new mattress in second bedroom, but overall nice. Love the Al Fresco restaurant, indoor pool!

For my 50th birthday week, I splurged on this condo. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The condo is fully stocked with amazing views and the property amenities cannot be beat. When sun on the beach was too hot, we made our way to the pool for drinks and lunch poolside with a bay view. Dolphin tours leave directly from the dock on the bay side. Nearby restaurants and shopping were great too (Peg Leg Pete’s was our favorite restaurant). The beach was gorgeous and there was plenty of wildlife to see. I’d like to return here every year.
