Die Ankündigung im Internet versprach viel, ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Leider wurden unserer Erwartungen überhaupt erfüllt.

Es gab in dem Zimmer nur einen Nachtisch, und er stand an einer Seite. Auf Anfrage sagt man uns ja. Normalerweise müsse dieser in der Mitte stehen. Es war aber nicht in dem Zimmer hergerichtet, dass zwei Personen dort übernachten. Die Kaffeepads mussten extra bezahlt werden und eine Rezeption abgeholt werden. Einen Fahrrad Stellplatz gab es im Grunde nicht. Man hat uns dann auf einen Auto Parkplatz platziert und sage und schreibe pro Person zehn Euro pro Tag dafür abgenommen. Das Zimmer lag Zur Straßenseite hin und war extrem laut. Auf Anfrage, sagte man uns. In dieser Kategorie gäbe es kein anderes Zimmer. Der Fernseher funktionierte erst überhaupt nicht auf Anfrage kam dann ein Service Mitarbeiter und dann konnten wir Fernsehen. Insgesamt sind wir sehr enttäuscht, da wir uns laut Ankündigung etwas anderes von diesem Hotel gesprochen hatten. Uns gefällt die Haltung nicht die uns Fahrradfahren entgegengebracht wurde. Es gab in der Garage viel Platz neben den Auto Stellplätzen es hätten 20 Fahrräder dort abgestellt werden können und dass man bei dieser Kategorie vom Hotel die Kaffeepads extra bezahlen muss, ist eine Frechheit. Dieses Hotel wirkt mit einem besonderen Flair. Leider ist die Haltung extrem unflexibel und unangemessen. Im übrigen war dieses Zimmer, das wird gebucht haben mit dem flicken Teppichen ästhetisch nicht sehr schön hergerichtet. Im Bad fehlten die Kosmetiktücher. Es war nur noch ein Blatt vorhanden. Wie gesagt, extrem enttäuscht und nie wieder!

The hotel’s once renowned restaurant has been closed due to lack of business and only serves breakfast. Could this be the first sign of decline for this hotel? The dining area itself is absolutely beautiful with a giant skylight in the middle and the staff are very attentive. But they won’t serve you lunch or dinner. While the hotel property and lobby is spotless, if you bring a car into the garage, you’ll find a big mess. The guest garage also serves as storage for all sorts of building material and just junk. It is also very hot and humid, owing to poor air circulation. A visit to the garage really downgrades the whole hotel experience.

My excellent choice in Prague was to stay at this hotel, which has good soundproofing which allows me to have a perfect sleep every day. The hotel staff were also very friendly. If I come to Prague for vacation again, I would still choose to stay here.

Uns hat es rundum gefallen. Lage, Frühstück und das Zimmer sind sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Hotel weiter.

Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln.

Świetna lokalizacja. Ciekawa aranżacja wnętrz. Uśmiechnięty, kontaktowy i pomocny personel od samego wejścia. Mega wygodne łóżka. Czystość, pięknie pachnące kosmetyki w łazience. Smaczne i różnorodne śniadania.

Fantastic location with beautiful coffees (I totally loved Cafe Melvin in Pohorelec street few meters away from the hotel) and restaurants and a monastery less than a block away. The walking distance to the Charles Bridge is aprox 22 min down hill, which is totally worth to do, i enjoyed the beautiful architecture and views through the streets Uvoz and Nerudova. Nevertheless a stop in the the Schawarzenbersky, which is around 14 minutes walking distance was great. The hotel is also 10 minutes away from the train station. Very easy to reach. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

The rooms are a bit old. The floor is the room is carpet, which I personally find old fashion and disgusting, together with the bed cover which who know when was it washed. There were some signed of humidity in the walls of the bathroom. However, all in all it looked clean… it was just old. The breakfast was 17 euros and there was no possibility to order a la carte.
