Everything and the location to town was amazing

Expensive. Better buy "all inclusive", because otherwise hotel restraunt prices might surprise you. "all inslusive" wasn't an obvious option here on booking when I made a reservation. All my friends got it and I didn't, which was upsetting after all. Noticed cockroach in my room the night I arrived.

We had a great stay, the hotel activities were fun, the food was amazing, and staff were friendly and attentive. I would 100% return to NYX.

What makes Hotel NYX great is definitely its staff. Each and every individual at every level makes you feel welcome and comfortable. A big shoutout to the wonderful, courteous, professional yet friendly staff. This was my first time in Mexico and also the first time at an all-inclusive resort so I had an absolutely incredible time. The food, as a vegetarian, was delicious with a decent amount of options to choose from. The rooms were nice and clean and the hotel is located in a very central location close to many amenities should you need to step out in the first place but be rest assured, the hotel has got you covered with everything you need. The breakfast is lavish. The pools are relaxing. Access to the beach is beautiful. A massage by the beach is phenomenal. Great nightly entertainment, very enjoyable! I would love to be back and I’m already looking forward to my next trip.

My only complaint is there was some slight miscommunication between what was shown on booking.com and what was actually booked/offered at the hotel. They try to make you upgrade to a room with a better view and bigger, premium perks and really it all comes down to personal preference but I just wish there’s more transparency and clarity right from the moment you make a booking till the end of your stay. This really isn’t a big downside. My experience throughout was still great and exceeded all my expectations.

The staff all felt like they did not enjoy working there and it reflected on the way they interact with customers. i didnt feel comfortable at all being there. We got all inclusive for one day, had to ask for someone to take our order at 4pm, waited an hour, someone finally came at 5pm and let us know that the restaurant just closed. After letting the manager know that we ve been waiting for an hour, they agreed to serve us pizza and burgers, which were probably one of the worse ones ive had in my life. The burger was very dry and had no taste. They provide packets of ketchup and mayo on request, which were of terrible quality and didnt taste like anything. The fries that came with the burger tasted like fries that have been left out overnight and then reheated in a microwave. They are clearly not at all interested in providing quality service. Both my girlfriend and i had stomach issues the following day. The shower gel is refilled daily with very little amount, which we ran out of on a daily basis with two people showering twice. they only provide two towels daily. everything felt very stingy in the room. the all inclusive at the front desk was advertised as including everything in the room’s mini fridge. we find out that “everything” was just two bottles of water. the facility is small and the two pools and beachfront are small. overall had a bad experience and couldn’t wait to get out of that place. felt uncomfortable with every interaction. very overpriced compared to the quality they provide.

If you’re looking for a room for 2, keep in mind: the bed in a “standard room for two” doesn’t really FIT those two. It’s a bed for one person or a person and a baby. At best — two extremely skinny adults who don’t move the whole night. At the reception they say “you have to pay extra of you want a bigger bed”. Well then it should be said on the website: you’re paying 300+$ per night for a room for two though you two won’t fit so get an upgrade now. The room itself is very humid, the air conditioner couldn’t fix that. And at night you can hear literally every word from the bar — and it got really loud on Friday. No soundproof at all. During the rain the ceiling right outside the door is leaking. So while entering the room you get wet. The wifi was slow, sometimes it kept buffering pages. Juices at breakfast were super artificial, nothing from the actual juice left. Conclusion: to me, price / quality weren’t matching at all.

Great location, good beach front property.

We had to switch rooms because of dirty sheets and dirty box spring. Also the food was not that good and the drinks were definitely watered down. We ended up eating at nearby restaurants to compensate.

Service was not great, waited a long time for food and bar service. The restaurants and bars were not crowded enough for the long waits. Also when booking on here the prices are listed as per room, but then they make you pick one or two people staying in the room

The room, the view, everything was phenomenal! we loved our stay. Daniela and Medel, they were extremely helpful and friendly during our stay. Words cannot describe how amazing they were to us, we loved them. They made our stay much more comfortable and welcoming because of their charisma, joyfulness. We will definitely be back!

They put a lot of effort on food but still not delicious besides the Sushi bar

The service is good, the location is great for moving to other places and the food was nice. Once you stop asking for soft drinks and you are a bit more specific into whisky, mezcalitas, margaritas, etc.. Cocktails are great. The sushi bar was beyond expectations. The breakfast was AMAZING!

The bedroom was different from the one that it's shown on the page, they have the new and old rooms but never tell you so; then we got one of the old ones, that were in good state and comfortable but non-updated at all (old phones, old bathroom, old equipment). We selected this hotel because of the restaurants, when we arrived they told us that both restaurants were available after 3 or more days in the Hotel, that's something really quick to fix by adding the information to the summary.

Rigidity around chrxk out. Some flexibility not more than an hour extension should be considered . Staff was absolutely rigid about that.
