I liked the fact that the place is fully pet-friendly, meaning that no leash was requiered and we could stay all around even at the common kitchen, which was superb. The owner herself has two lovely puppies. Considering that is a Hostel, the room was spatious, with ensuite bathroom, enough for the stay. Also the common kitchen is quite convenient, with all things required to cook and prepare your own dishes. You also count with free breakfast coffee, tea, juice, toasts, what's needed to kick off a new day. Location is superb just 10 min walk to El Postiguet Beach, next to one of the main restaurants area, 10 min walk to the Mercado Square, tram station. Also if you are after party, all the main International Pubs are just next door.

Location is one of its strengthens but also the main disadvantage, wekkends at night place is very noisy until late, streets crowded with party people and its setbacks, not feeling confortable at all walking back to the Hostel late at night. Pretty obvious on arrival as many of the neighbours has panflets on the balconies asking for Silence, Civism, aiming to Sleep... During our stay we had not much support from the hostel members, as there was nobody by the reception desk during the afternoons, even during the mornings was likely the Cleaning lady was doing recepcionist duties as well. You could always reach by phone the Hostel members but the experience is not the same. We stayed for 4 days, and we only had our room serviced one day.

Loved the quirky design and glorious features... very comfy bed... very pleasing breakfast set up with football table too... stunning location...easy for Castle and beach.. helpful kind staff... absolutely going back.

Very friendly info rich hosts, art deco 60's french theme, unusual giraffe theme, good sized room with en-suite bathroom, cafes very near by, beach very near by, shops very near by, sights very near by, good free breakfast, free kitchen use, lift to other floors, very clean, secure, safe area, friendly locals.

Only 1 thing really, thursday, friday, saturday nights loud music from pub right next door till 3am which is normal for weekends. Spanish do like to party. Apart from that, this is an ideal central place to stay.

Communication was quick. The interior stunning. It feels like your own place. Very nice lounge to have some tea or wine in the evening.. there is so much to see. You feel back in the sixties. I had a wonderful single room. Very quiet. I would absolutely recommend it and stay there again myself. They have an online service to order a taxi who picks you up in front of the door.

There was nothing I didn't like I'm happy to say..

Matras was doable (bit too firm), so matras needs replacing soon or needs a topper on it. And just know that it’s right in the clubbing area, so off season it’s only Friday and Saturday’s, but didn’t bother us but if you are a light sleeper, take precautions.

Lovely boutique room in the French style. The room was spacious and nicely decorated with traditional trimmings and had a lovely high ceiling. Laura on reception was super friendly and helpful, recommending us restaurants, local beaches and neighbouring towns to visit. And Simon too. The complimentary breakfast offered was a nice surprise and the location of the place was excellent, centrally located in the Old Town. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Dark and dingy back room 104 Conversation could be heard clearly from the other rooms I paid for 3 nights and only stayed one that should say it all

It was a bit cold at night because of the air conditioner.

The place is beautifully decorated and the common area where you can enjoy a simple, vegan breakfast is inviting with a homey feel. We stayed here with our toddler and our dog, both of whom were welcomed with a lot of love. We were worried about the location being in a popular party zone, and whether it would be loud, but we slept like rocks, didn't hear a peep (note: we were there on a Thursday, low season). Will definitely stay here again!

Shower curtain was useless, no soap or toiletries given, no mini fridge or coffee making facilities in the room, faced the street so very noisy, impossible to find anyone on reception when we needed them

Hotel has very special feeling. There is a fridge and even cooker, which can be used for breakfast only. Nice common room to sit and eat and games to play. Would be nice for a group of people.

soundproof insulation is not very good. i could hear people next door talking. It is help yourself policy in the kitchen, which was not explained well. So I was not sure what can/can't be used there. There is no explanation to this on the discription. Otherwise I could have brought food with me.

The location is excellent, right in the city center. The hotel is located in a neighbourhood where people usually go out on the weekends, but we had no problem with the noise. Also, everything was really, really clean.

The beds were not the most comfortable ones, but, in general, everything was great. Great value for money.

More attractive and stylish than it looked in the photos. Clean, friendly, gray to have loving space and tea making facilities etc in the little kitchen, Lovely big room. Issues with shower but they were fixed quickly.

The breakfast was toast with butter and jam and then tea/coffee and some orange juice serve yourself and clean up after yourself, perfect. The rooms were clean and interesting decor. No cleaning was done during stay but we're clean people so it was fine. We were able to come and go as we pleased.

The beds aren't that comfy and the twin beds are smaller than a single I think, quite small
