Excellent location Amazing and helpful receptionist

The view is exceptional from the rooms that we had. Located next to a Thai restaurant and just above Jesse’s cafe and bar. Perfect. Thank you Mangonui for a great quick get away for us.

Great location, awesome friendly staff she even drove us to and from the local winery. Very friendly locals, can highly recommend the mangonui fish shop for oysters and scallops !

That we didn't stay longer

We were very impressed with the beautiful view from our upstairs apartment, especially the sunrise each morning. There was everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is very spacious with a good sized bathroom, a very useful kitchen, and an amazing deck on the waterfront side that ran the length of the apartment. Also, we had the use of a small barbecue on the back deck.

Unless you get an upstairs apartment you dont have waterfront views. There is no A/C which is not a drama but theres no method of circulation of a downstairs apartment without a security risk

Good location close to central shops, lovely decor, views and facilities.

There is a restaurant downstairs which plays music until about 10pm every night so it was difficult to relax in the evenings with the noise.

We had the most wonderful stay at the waterfront apartments! The staff were very kind and upgraded us to the waterfront view as we were on our honeymoon. It was very kind and we really appreciated it! The apartment was beautifully and tastefully decorated and we had everything we needed. The balcony at the front was a beautiful view and we were able to get some supplies at the local store and then enjoy some wine and cheese on the balcony and look out to sea and enjoy the breeze!!

The apartment was was fantastic, very clean and comfortable and a great view of the bay. Ideal location for seeing the best beaches of the Northland. Would definitely recommend if your looking for somewhere to stay in this area.
