Location was surrounded by roadworks and, although not active, it was unpleasant to navigate. My room was in a very noisy apartment with 'neighbours' slamming doors and talking loudly out in the corridor at all hours making it hard to sleep.

Check in hour is later than other accomodations and they charge for luggage storage.

For a budget accommodation it worked well. Clean and easy to use

The location was okay. They had access to public transport and weren't too far of a walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station. However, they have construction happening outside with an open sewer which reeks when you walk past and made the venue difficult to find when we first arrived.

You are at the mercy of the other people staying at the accommodation. Who will slam doors at all hours of the night and morning. The rooms are hot. They claim to have fans, for rent but they don't have enough. The showers don't have shower curtains and the bathroom floors fill with water and make the rooms smell. If you were a uni student and lived there, you could do things to mitigate these problems, but as a traveller it is very difficult. They have a poster up in the rooms which says this is student accommodation, not a hotel so lower your expectations. But it still isn't great when you have paid them to stay at the accommodation.

Good location in Leith - a lot to do around the area. Easy to walk to places.

Construction, trash bins everywhere full of seagulls that makes a lot of noice around 4am every morning

The location

Room far too hot despite just 20°C outside because windows could not be opened properly. No AC. Door lock did not work reliably. Towel, shower gel and hair dryer were missing and only available upon request. No prior mentioning in decription.

Location is great

The beds are uncomfortable and the bed seats were stained. The doors close too loudly that one could sleep with the latest person entering to the rrom in their floor and wake up with the earliest people leaving.

The view was incredible, we where top floor on a corner so had glass windows on 2 sides. The room was spacious and while the kitchen was small, it was fully functional. The staff where fantastic and it was easy to get in and out when we returned from our days out.

The property was hard to find, due to the building works we couldn’t get to the accommodation in the car, and had 2 different postcodes. Once we found the property it was easy to get in and out. The public transport was good, however there is no parking or street parking, we eventually managed to find a rent a parking space about a 10 minute walk away. Was hard to get ahold of the staff via the phone but I received multiple emails and messages prior to arriving to help make things smoother. The pillows where thin and uncomfortable but everything else was great :)

Stayed as a single traveller for one night. Very good value, like a modern hotel, extremely clean, bathroom in room, good bed, table & chair etc., access to kitchen, very nice staff, quiet at night & generally.

The onlly minor-minor thing would be that on this 3rd floor, the window could only open very little due to the system, making the room a bit too warm here in late June.

The furnishings were fine, location good.

Room was very hot, no bin or towel provided, loud premises. Cleaner might come in an hour before check out. Restless premises.

The bed was uncomfortable and too soft (spring mattress in 2023!). The door of the room didn't locked properly, giving some sense of unsafety.

The mattress and also the system for the WIFI (unable to connect, very complicated for a temporary accommodation). Very young staff that sometimes looked unprofessional. One of the girls was lovely, though, and helped for a long time, with the WIFI issues. Unfortunately we couldnt sort it out.

Great location, nice room and friendly people. I liked the kitchen, there were enough tea, milk, coffee and cosmetics. Wonderful people and wonderful city, especially liked the Holyrood park nearby.🧡

very basic had to pay for storage of luggage - and towels check in was at 3.00 pm stuffy as could only slightly open windows as there were safety catches

Friendly and helpful staff, easy to find and commute to. Rooms were basic but exactly what you would expect. Free tea, coffee, toiletries, etc. Multiple mini supermarkets nearby and plenty of cafes around. Had no real issues with the accommodation.

Everything was good except that the doors in the flats are very loud. Whenever anybody entered/left their room during the night it woke us both up. The doors naturally slam unless you guide them all the way into the doorframe. Maybe even just signs about closing doors quietly would be helpful as people probably aren't doing it on purpose.

rooms were baking and towels were not present in rooms. had to collect them from reception but we were too exhausted to walk downstairs given we arrived late.
