Perfect location, very comfortable, pretty furnishings and all essentials catered for. Felt very welcome. Host is very helpful and looked after us well.

The location was perfect, close to harbour, pubs, shops and incredible gateway to coastal walks. Sophia was fantastic, helpful and the cottage stunningly different, cosy and well equipped.

Being woken up at 7am every morning by the owners footsteps up above and her shouting at her cats to get off the furniture. You can hear everything up above and I mean everything.

Really enjoyed our stay here, Sophia the owner was very welcoming, the apartment was great and the terrace was cool to chill on. We would recommend this accommodation, we would also recommend the coastal path walk from Ilfracombe to Lee for the great views

The location is superb, less than a few minutes walk to the harbour and local amenities! Having a gorgeous terrace to sit on in the evening (with bbq!) was an added bonus. The kitchen facilities at The Old Eclectick are finished to an extremely high standard, we found having this space handy for those few evenings when we didn't go out. Sophie is a very attentive host, she couldn't do any more for us. And since she lives in the apartment above the cottage she is always on hand should you need anything. Would definitely return 👍

There isn't any parking included but the car park is just down the road.

I had a good email exchange with Sophia before our visit and she provided excellent directions and information about local restaurants. She was on hand to great us on our arrival at fairly short notice.

One minor issue was the poor ventilation in the shower room.

Sophie was a brilliant host, had so much info to give us which made our stay so much easier when trying to find food locations, the location of the property was just perfect, and only a short drive to saunton beach where we spent most of the time surfing, It was lovely to come back to illfracombe on the afternoon/ evening to peace and tranquility. A little slice of heaven. And our fur babies loved their stay too, thank you again Sophie for making us feel so welcome. We will be back 🐶🐶

We had an enjoyable stay at The Old Eclectick, such an old world, quirky place. Loved all of the art and little touches that made it interesting and cosy. Brilliant location we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace admiring the view and people watching. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is included and the added bonus was special deli dogs treats which our Bedlington terrier was thrilled about! Thanks Sophia

A stunning wee apartment with a charming and totally unique and arty style. Incredibly central with beautiful views and everything you could need. We only discovered the super-cozy TV lounge on the second night. Perfect for a candle-lit takeaway! Sophia was extremely welcoming and helpful - despite us forgetting to mention our dogs. We’d love to stay again when we’re next down.

We were made to feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Everything you could need and all of excellent quality. Sophia couldn’t do more for us.
