Good location for the city very close to everything, room was comfortable for the price, the staff very nice and helpful, surprising quite in the evening, being so central.

It wasn't clean, sheets were not clean, there were a lot of cockroaches. They were supposed to have 24 hour reception and I let them know that I was leaving at 2 or 3 am but they were not there. We had to call them multiple times to be able to leave the hotel

Used this for a quick overnight stay before catching a bus the next day. It served its purpose. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly.

Walls are very thin so noise travels a lot. Supposed to be free drinking water but none was available when we stayed.

The staff was fantastic. It's not a super nice hotel but it was a good value and I have no complaints. The area is a but sketchy but I knew that beforehand. Be smart and you should be fine.

The area is kinda dangerous. There are many restaurants that I saw nearby but I didn't walk around there very much.

The staff at Hotel Metropolitano was excellent. All of them were friendly, helpful and were great friends during our stay! This hotel is perfect for both young and old families. We traveled with our elderly grandparents and every effort was made to make sure they were comfortable! Muchas gracias todos los del Hotel Metropolitano!

Great place to stay in Guatemala city

The blankets were extremely comfortable

There was no outdoor smoking space. The unit was very loud with other guests watching loud films or coming in late at night. On our first day the hotel worker said we could not come inside after 10pm, because the doors would be locked. We found out the next day however that was only for his convenience because they were letting other guests in all hours of the night, which was very loud. Overall the room was comfortable but not good if you are searching a quiet place.

Because of delay of the flight, we arrived about 2 AM and owner waited for us. Good option for one night stay, price is very low.

Only cold water, interesting solution of the bathroom (shower and then the toilet), no window to the outside.

Unfortunately, we didn’t received the room we booked. We stayed in an improvised room under the main staircase, with no private bathroom. The room was not very clean and very small. Although, the staff was nice, helpful.

For the price it's doable. It's kinda close to the 6th avenue in zone 1.

The local people that stay there wake up at 430am and talk to loud, i had to wear my ear plugs at that time. The entrance is accessible by an attendant that stays inside should he leave for any reason you will need to wait.
