It was relatively close to the main centre,a 15 min slow walk. Staff had all the knowledge needed for the stay. Lovely garden courtyard to enjoy free coffee and have a yarn, or read a book.

The bed was a but hard, and the place was l9cked up when I arrived late due to the bus journey, even though I kept sending messages to update them, which was disappointing, though I eventually got in

Het transport van de bus terminal naar het hotel is lastig. De tuc-tuc hebben een kartel gevormd en de prijzen zijn hoog. , communicatie met het hotel vooraf, via booking werd niet beantwoord.

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre bien aménagée avec des rangements. Hôte adorable, qui nous a aidés à trouver un bus de nuit pour Pakse alors que tout le monde nous disait qu’ils étaient complets !

Emplacement à 25min à pieds du centre et beaucoup de chiens errants… Salle de bain petite, et quelques odeurs d’égouts mais on l’a signalé et on a été changés de chambre.

Clean sheets, comfy bed, a fan. Staff helpful & obliging, small shop on site. Free hot water (for drinks) & basic communal kitchen area.

The bathroom, while essentially clean, was basic & could have benefitted from a lick of paint in something other than bilious green. Mirrors could have been cleaned too.

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel .Nous sommes arrivés très tôt, nous avons pu poser nos sacs et partir déjeuner ! Il y a un service de Laundry ,la location de scooters. Nous avons laissé nos sacs pendant la boucle et en revenant nous avons pu attendre tranquillement notre bus de nuit à l'extérieur, et même nous avons pu prendre une douche !Au top pour avant et après la boucle

L'accès de la station de bus est à 40 min et le centre à 20 min à pied

Most of the room was clean, quiet place at night, shop in the street, organised tuktuk for us, very cheap

Insects in the room when we arrived, very hard bed, could not really stand upright in the bathroom, maybe we were unlucky because only the budget room on booking was available.

The bus was so late getting into town, I didn't arrive until just after 11pm. I had messaged the property to update them and it was no problem at all. So friendly, the room is basic but clean and does the job for one night before starting the loop.

Really cheap and comfortable. Staff is nice and very helpful. Free coffee and water. We stayed the night before the Thakek loop and the night after, they kept our bigger luggage during our absence. We rented our scooter through the lady and also booked our bus ticket to Pakse through her, she drove us to the bus station in the morning. It’s not very close to the center but there is a restaurant right in front of the guesthouse as well as a small store close-by.

There was no blanket on the bed.

Quiet and spacious. The room was simple with no added extras like a fridge, but it was clean with tables and chairs outside to relax out of the sun. It’s a popular spot for people doing the Thakhet loop so lots of good company!

It’s a little way out of town so having your own transport is used. There are plenty of places to rent motorcycles including the guesthouse.

The rooster screaming at 4am...

The guesthouse offers a laundry service and helps to book a scooter and bus tickets. In addition, you can store your luggage at the guesthouse while doing the loop. And you can take a shower when returning from the loop even if you don't stay for another night.

The guesthouse is in a residential area with only one restaurant directly opposite the guesthouse, which opens at noon. So if you want to have breakfast, you either need a motorbike or need to be lucky to get one of the two existing bicycles or have to call a tuk tuk or have to walk quite a bit. If you want to spend the evening at the riverside, it's the same problem and there are many dogs around that are barking, so walking might be not so nice. Another negative aspect was the promise of free banana and coffee, which would be a great thing in a neighborhood without many other options, that wasn't kept. We stayed for three days and during the whole time there was neither bananas nor coffee. And unfortunately there's no mosquito net or possibility to fix your own mosquito net in the room.

good help from hosts for planning transport, motorbikes etc. for budget travelers it might do the job.

Room A8 is very small, no sink in bathroom. But reasonable and acceptable for the price.

Great place to stay whilst doing the loop. We started and ended here and booked the room for the entire stay to keep our stuff safe (it was affordable for us to do this). I've seen on other reviews that they will store your stuff whilst you're on the loop so you don't have to book and pay for a room whilst you're away. The hotel staff are young, cool and friendly. They arranged the bikes for us and had them delivered to the accommodation; the bikes were in very good condition. The place is a little walk away from town but once you have the bikes it's easy to get around. We did walk back one night after sunset and the street dogs from town to the hotel can be rather aggressive, so it's not advised to walk around at night- this is not the hotel owners fault; they are not responsible for the street dogs of laos! We booked the bus from here to the capital with the hotel, you pay a bit more but the owner does transport you to the bus station in a 4x4 nice and early so you can get a good seat. If you want to save a little bit of money you can buy your ticket yourself at the bus station for 150,000kip but you also have to find your own way to the bus station

I wasn't sure where the free bananas, coffee and tea was and I was too shy to ask. Maybe let the people know when they arrive where they can access the tea and coffee :) thanks
