My mother and I had a great time staying at the Casita. Jill provided all necessary instructions and was responsive to questions. It's a short walk to some scenic cliffs where you can see the community gather around surfing in the mornings, and running and biking throughout the day. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. You're tucked away from the street. The parking space is very convenient. If you appreciate gardening, the homeowners in the area bring their A-game! Would gladly stay again.

If you’re a surfer this place is phenomenal. Walking distance to the lane or cowells plus an outdoor shower and hot tub to soak in after. The street is very quiet and close to everything. It was great!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing vacation rental, and we must say, it exceeded all ou expectations. From the very beginning, our host was extremely easy to contact, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The floor warming in the rental was a delightful surprise that added an extra level of coziness to our stay. The property's location was superior, just a stone's throw away from West Cliff Drive, making it incredibly convenient for us to explore the beautiful surroundings. Parking was not an issue at all during our stay. Although the place was a little tricky to find initially, it didn't take us long to figure out where it was. Trust me, the minor inconvenience is absolutely worth it for the peace and quiet this neighborhood offers. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the basic necessities, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. The price for our week-long stay was unbeatable, especially considering the quality of the rental and its fantastic location. Having two bathrooms with showers was a very convenient feature, allowing our group to get ready quickly in the mornings or refresh after a long day of exploring. In conclusion, I highly recommend this vacation rental for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and well-located place to stay. The exceptional host, floor warming, quiet neighborhood, and convenient amenities all contributed to a truly memorable experience.

Our stay was wonderful! We loved the house. It was beautiful inside and out, and the hot tub was great. Very close to West Cliff, but also very quiet.

My husband had a wonderful time in Santa Cruz staying at this lovely condo. I believe it would be ok for maybe another couple and some small children if you all got along as it is a bit small. We found the location to be fantastic and everything that we needed was right at the condo.

Fantastic rental in the Westside of Santa Cruz. We have family that live in the area and this was the perfect “annex” for our family visit. The casita was clean and very well stocked from the kitchen to beach/hot tub towels, beach chairs, etc. Loved the hot tub and the outdoor patio area for family meals. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen for cooking meals after being on the road and eating out for days. The location is stellar - only minutes from west cliff drive and a view of the ocean. Easy walking distance to boardwalk, wharf, and downtown (for kids too!). Our host was super fast to respond to questions. We loved our stay, wish it could have been longer.

The Casita was in a great location within walking distance from Cowell’s Beach, Steamer Lane, and the boardwalk. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was excellent for our family of four. We have two young teenage daughters and they loved the hot tub, walking to boardwalk and weather. We had a great week of relaxation and long walks along West Cliff. Overall it was a great place to stay...quiet, well equipped for cooking meals and within walking distance of boardwalk(but don't hear the noise from anything at night, other than occasional barking of the sea lions under wharf.

Wonderful home within walking distance to the wharf, Boardwalk, Cowell's Beach, Lighthouse, downtown. It fit the needs of a family, ages 11 to 81 comfortably. The hot tub was a great added bonus. Parking a big van was easy. Our hosts were very accessible.

The location was great for our stops at the wharf, boardwalk, disc golf tournament, downtown shopping and whale watching. Easy check in, clean, well equipped kitchen, nice hot tub - very pleasurable stay!

My daughters and I had such a great visit there. The location was perfect we could walk to several beaches the warf and the boardwalk. The house was a really nice set up, super cute and clean. We loved the hot tub in the backyard. We are definitely going back.

We had a wonderful time at the casita this week! The location is fantastic - just a couple blocks from W. Cliff where we walked along the water every day. There are several coffee shops and lunch spots nearby that we visited nearly every day. And all the adorable Santa Cruz neighborhoods are a quick and easy drive. The house was perfect for our family - the casita is small but there still feels like plenty of space to get comfortable and relax. I would happily return to this house and highly recommend it for a great time in Santa Cruz!

Wonderful property, great location. We were looking for a well-equipped place to relax and serve as home base for outings in the area. The casita delivered! It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to lots of activities. The hot tub was great after long days mountain biking and hiking. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. We only had a couple questions not long after arriving and Jill responded within moments. Overall, it was just as or better than advertised. A terrific place. We’ll be back!

My adult children and I spent four nights at the Casita and loved every minute of it. The place is cute, comfortable, and has everything you need for an enjoyable week at the beach. We only got in the car to drive the short distance to buy groceries and go downtown for dinner once, but we mostly walked to the boardwalk for corn dogs, the wharf for meals and shopping, and the the Lighthouse for beautiful sunset views. Jill was great to communicate with. Would love to stay here again!

Walked to the beach, lighthouse park, and all over while visiting friends. Great central Santa Cruz location! Nice place, big hot tub, can’t complain! Only note, as others have said, the stairs weren’t easy to navigate for our little ones - nothing that wasn’t clear from pics or reviews, just meant a little extra watchful eye when we were upstairs

This property is wonderfully tucked in an alley just a couple blocks from Westcliff Drive, the historic road that winds along the cliffs on the westside of Santa Cruz. Although so close to Westcliff and the Beach Boardwalk (and just a few minutes to downtown), it's a surprisingly quiet neighborhood with a great local Santa Cruz feel. You'll feel tucked away in this little cottage, beautifully designed and by the owners themselves. Soak in the hot tub, cook in the kitchen, that's stocked with everything from blenders to pans and baking sheets. The courtyard is just big enough for hot tub and sitting with friends...but the real joy is just a couple blocks further. Grab your morning coffee and watch the early-morning surfers in Steamer Lane (right off of Lighthouse Point). Take an ocean-front walk. Stroll or drive to downtown (walking doesn't take long). Explore the Boardwalk (it's worth walking through, even if you're not interested in the rides...try a foggy morning before the crowds arrive!). On top of all that, the wharf with its restaurants and views. I promise the owner didn't pay me to write this...I just can't emphasize what a rare find this location and ambiance are. The house isn't huge, but it's exactly as described: a delightful casita!
