Would recommend and would stay again.

This is a nice house that was comfortable, except for the strong odor from the carpeting. It is stained and needs to be replaced. The stairs are steep and the upstairs bathroom is only accessible by entering the king bedroom--a bit awkward for sharing.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage for our sibling reunion. I would rate the cottage a 3.5. The home has lots of space with a front and back porch. It was nice to have a heater on the front porch. The cottage is well equipped and all essentials were labeled. We stayed here for 2 nights. We felt that attention to some basic maintenance issues could have made this a 5 star stay. Both porches were in need of paint, the rugs had noticeable stains, there was also a ceiling stain that needed attention. We were excited to use the piano as we are all musicians but the instrument had keys that didn’t work. It was very out of tune and difficult to play. We also were frustrated that there were no hand rails on the stairs leading up to the bedrooms. This was a safety concern for us. The manager left a book with information about the house and contact information but did not contact us during the stay. Overall, we enjoyed the location but felt that the property was in need of some repairs.

We had a short visit as we were there to walk the Mackinac bridge. The house was great with no issues. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake. We were surprised by the neighbors setting off fireworks on Labor Day but they were done by 10:00 so no worries. The only humorous hiccup was we couldn’t avoid the sprinkler at 5:15 AM when leaving for the bridge walk.

Great family destination- our kids loved being on the lake and dock. Was wonderful to have such a kid friendly destination

We had a very relaxing stay. The cottage is full of character. We really enjoyed the comfortable beds and the Keurig coffeemaker with a great assortment of flavors. We didn’t have any luck ice fishing, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Location great, layout great especially for family with kids. Clean too. I would like to have wood set out for fire pit and cornhole beanbags to play the game. I couldn't figure out the tv. The porch was the best! There was a propane heater which we utilized a lot. I would go back!!

Cute cottage in a perfect location. The only downside was that the main floor was very cold, regardless if we turned on the electric heaters, so maybe turn up the controlled temp. Other than that is was great, with great accommodations for 3 couples. I’m sorry, we did forget to start the dishwasher.

Perfect for a family stay- master suite and bedrooms set up great. Lawn with shallow water and docks great for kids. The porch with heater is the best!! Would stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was great. We loved the homey cottage feel. It was well stocked although it sometimes took a little searching. I would highly recommend this property.

This Cottage was indeed the perfect place to stay. As a past local of Harbor Springs, this cottage is centrally located between Harbor and Petoskey 10 min either direction not to mention the state park and beach. It was clean and the extra accommodations made by the owner .. like Bluetooth speaker, firepit, furnishing including linens, welcome basket of local goods, and high-quality toiletries were appreciated. My friend and I had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the solitude with a glass of wine by the lakeside firepit. We enjoyed the house so much that we ended up making dinner every night and just hanging out in the house. It was the best MOMCATION ..

This Hone was great. Very close to the water with an inviting sun porch and great area for a bonfire. The only caution I would have is we had to seniors who are not too stable in walking and there are a few steps to navigate the house. Would absolutely book here again

My brothers and I stayed here for a fall golf getaway. The location is perfect. We fished and kayaked on the lake. Petoskey State Park is very close, and is beautiful. We had multiple golf courses to choose from within 30 minutes. The house is absolutely charming and accommodations were first class. Highly recommended!

The property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. We took full advantage of the amenities and we're pleased with the variety of life jackets.

Our family had a wonderful time!! Swimming, boating, kayaking, etc. the campfire was great!! We were told to bring sheets and towels but when we checked in we realized we didn’t need to!

We stayed with 3 adults and 5 kids between 9-12 for a ski vacation. Proximity to Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands is good, about a 10 minute drive. The home has a great layout for blended families with multiple living areas and eating areas. If there was a downside, there were multiple problems with the home during the cold snap, though the owner was responsive and quick to fix any problems.

The location is fine but the property is run down and not up to what you would expect for the money asked. The carpets were stained. The television didn’t work. The linens were mismatched and hard to find. There is only one bathroom upstairs so whoever is in the other bedroom has to get up and go down a rather narrow staircase in the middle of the night. There was no firewood to build a fire either outside or in. The doors are very hard to shut and lock. All in all, a very substandard experience for the money asked. Beware!

The property is wonderfully situated on Crooked lake with great views from the porch. The rooms are small, but adequate for a vacation stay and were able to fit 6 adults and 7 small children ages 2-5. The kitchen, baths and living areas were well kept and stocked with the necessities, and it was clearly a frequently traveled family spot given the amount of children books and toys (which was a great plus for our group). The dock on the property is really nice and the available paddle boards and kayaks made for some fun days out on the water.

The property was easy to find and we felt comfortable immediately upon arrival! While the house (interior & exterior) were a little dirty and unkept, overall (after a little cleaning ourselves) things were nice.

This property was wonderful for my family. The porch was perfect for relaxing! There is a living space in the back for when the babies woke up early and a living space in the front facing the water. The kitchen was stocked, except I didnt see any kitchen hand towels, the appliances worked great and the laundry was a bonus. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This was the perfect place for a family with teens! There is enough space for everyone to come together, then retreat to their own spaces. It’s just beautiful sitting on the edge of the lake and perfectly situated in the middle of Petoskey and Harbor Springs — and all the surrounding activities. Great place!!

Served our needs very nicely. Very close to skiing. Very comfortable and cute household. Beautiful views.

We had a great stay for two families of four. Plenty of space. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Location was convenient for skiing. We would love to return in summer. (It was a hassle to have to bring our own sheets and blankets, but that may be a local rule, and not the property managers.)

We had a wonderful time at this vacation rental. It was very clean and close to the ski areas. They even had some arts and crafts for our kids to play with while staying there. A couple of things that we wished were a little different were: the fireplace would not light, the kitchen utensils were very limited, and one of the showers was not working. Otherwise, this was a great place for a short weekend getaway!

Overall things were good. I think the house could use a deep cleaning. The floors and Carpets are a bit worn and stained. Things also need to be a bit more organized.

Our stay was very enjoyable, and we already look forward to returning next year.
