The front door was a little tricky to lock

Very helpful staff, heated pool, mineral spas, the 9:30 pm noise curfew. Location very handy to city, cafes, restaurants, and lake front. The beds were very comfortable, were we told they were new. Warm rooms, we just used the one radiator for heating, didn't need the heat pump or additional heater supplied.
The mineral spa rooms need more ventilation as the Sulphur odour is quite noticeable and gets overpowering after 10 minutes.

Great location right in Rotorua and close to the lake and government gardens. Loved the geothermal heated pool and the facilities, even a guest laundry (coin operated) which was great. Parking on site.
Rooms, fittings and furniture were dated and some things just not working. Lounge appeared to be broken. Radiator not working. Construction work happening at the place that wasn't advised before our arrival.

The friendly staff were absolutely amazing. The accomodation was exactly what we needed and the teens highly rate the very warm pool. Will recommend.

Great location, even better friendlier staff, and awesome hot springs on site! this hotel is progressive and really takes extra steps to make you comfortable. You can even grill at their outdoor bbq

The staff were really friendly. I liked the little information board by reception with tips and ideas, very handy.
Our only dislike was the weather which wasn't Aura's fault 😊

Spacious and comfortable rooms, a nice spa area and pool, a fun trampoline to get your inner kid out, and a laundry room - all that you need. The welcome package was a sweet touch too, and the staff were very kind and helpful.

The location, pool and mineral pools were great. The staff and their communication ahead of our stay, during our stay and after our stay were incredible - they clearly take pride in the Aura and seem to genuinely want visitors to enjoy their stay.
Our unit was an old-school NZ motel unit - a little dated and could have done with a lick of paint. However, It was spotlessly clean.

Extraordinarily friendly and helpful, lovely room and eco conscious practices. Would definitely stay again.
