Awesome property clean and well equipped in a perfect location.

Beautiful and spotless home located a short walk from the beach made an excellent home base for our multi generational family. 1.25 miles from boardwalk. Only downside to this property is the extensive instructions/expectations for checkout. When I’m paying the rental rate plus a cleaning fee, I prefer to relax and not be asked to strip beds, wash towels, take out trash, etc.

We had a lovely week staying at Max’s place in the twin lakes neighborhood of Santa Cruz. Location is amazing - less than 5 minute walk to the beach and situated on a very quiet and pretty street. House had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of five.

My husband and I have stayed in this home twice while visiting family in Santa Cruz. To me, the location can't be beat. It's in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes' walk from Twin Lakes Beach, and there is a crosswalk across the road between the house and the beach. It's nice to be near the beach but away from noise and traffic--great location.

Our family of four had a great stay at this property. Check-in was easy, house was very clean, location was awesome, and had all the amenities we needed. The heated bathroom floors were a bonus! We will definitely stay here again.

Great property with good access to the local Marina and Santa Cruz. The owner was unusually slow in response to our concerns regarding the internet which was intermittent at best in support of TV and computer access. This property has a very noisy washer which is located in the great-room area (e.g. irritating). However, this is otherwise a beautiful remodel with superior features and accommodations.

We had a great experience staying here! The house was clean, plenty of amenities, and parking. We loved the outdoor balconies and green space in the back to relax. Short walking distance to the beach, restaurants and coffee. The only thing we’d recommend is a mirror in each bedroom. Thanks for the great stay!

(Stayed June 5-10) This is a well maintained, very nice home. The proximity to the beach is ideal - you can walk in literally 10 mins. There is a collapsible Wagon we used each day we went to the beach and there is an outdoor shower on the side of the house to rinse off when you get back - perfect for not getting sand in your car or in the house! Overall we loved our stay - just one note, we did travel with a toddler, and it was a little challenging keeping him off the stairs. While we had a baby gate with us, it’s important to know the stairs are hard wood and rather steep, so just use caution if you are bringing little ones. Overall great rental! Thanks again for the great communication as well!

The home was clean, stocked with everything you need and a short walk away from the beach. 3 bedrooms which was comfortable for my wife & myself, my parents and our daughter and niece. Instructions to work/run everything in the home were great. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again in the future!

Our family really enjoyed our time at the home. We loved the kitchen for making meals. The house is just a couple blocks from the beach. We used the beach chairs and wagon provided. This is a comfortable and relaxing spot for a family. We stayed with our adult children and everyone had their own space. The house has light filtering window coverings so the bedrooms are bright in the mornings. The house is in a good location with recreation, groceries and restaurants near by. Our group went to Capitola, Santa Cruz boardwalk, Henry Cowell State Park and ended our trip by using Highway One to San Francisco.

Recently traveled to Santa Cruz for a family wedding. So happy we decided to rent the house and not stay in a hotel. Great location, short walk to beach and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend this property

We had a wonderful week at Max and Lisa’s property. The house was just perfect for our family vacation and hosts were very responsive. We loved the layout of the house, how well appointed it was, and the great kitchen with everything we needed to cook families meals together. Being walking distance from the beach was amazing. We can’t wait to book again.

Had a perfect stay at this property. Very clean, everything we needed was there. My only complaint was the check out. We spent our entire last morning cleaning. We did not make a mess but running and unloading the dishes and washing all towels and putting in the dryer before departure on top of long list took 3+ hours. Would still rent again…:

It was a beautiful modern house within walking distance to twin lakes beach and the harbor where there are restaurants as well. It also is a short drive to capitola and the boardwalk area. Loved our stay with family!

Our family truly enjoyed the beautiful house we stayed in at Santa Cruz. It was convenient to walk to the beach and other fun places to tour. The house had many amenities including some of the most elaborate beach accessories at your fingertips. We enjoyed the balcony with the lounge chairs to view the sunrise and sunset. This is a very nice location with a home that is kept up with lots of work and love. Thanks again for a wonderful place to share and make memories.

The process was easy and the property was very clean

Lacking nothing. Really doesn’t need any improvements. Great neighborhood, close to the beach, well furnished and appointed. Max Was extremely responsive and available to answer questions even at odd hours. Would stay again.

We enjoyed every aspect of this vacation home. We’ve rented several homes and this one by far was the best stocked home. They provide everything you need versus heading to a store for extra paper towels, etc. The kitchen was well stocked to prep meals.. Another perk was the comfy beds, we slept so good! We enjoyed relaxing on the balconies, taking in the summer breeze. Being a short walk away from the beach was the icing on the cake!

The 9th street House was absolutely perfect for our week in Santa Cruz. We’re familiar with the area and love Twin lakes… this house was perfectly located, easy walk to beach but far from any busy street. It was clean, so comfortable, with nice finishes (like sturdy doors, handles, counters etc) and well stocked. You can tell the owners really care about their house and that guests have a great stay! It was a great layout and size for our 3 adults, one teen and two 9year olds. 2 off street parking spots also! I will definitely go back, super easy communication with owners. A gem!
