great location, hotel is very nice and spacious, lovely lobby, very kids friendly, great swimming pool, booked a room for 2 adults and 1 kid, free roll-away bed which is a plus, within walkable distance of botanical garden and orchard road

Hotel is a little outside the main MRT system so a cab or 20 minute walk to the subway. Worth the walk however!

Everything was excellent and service was exceptional. A perfect staycation for the family - kids stayed occupied with the activities within the hotel (Splash and Buds were very fun), food was great (particular the breakfast spread) and room was very comfortable and spacious. Everything requested ahead of time was provided (specifically the baby amenities). Check in was also a breeze. As we reached early, we left our luggage at the front desk and the staff were extremely helpful. Overall a super pleasant and relaxing stay.

I liked everything but of course, there are areas to be improved. 1) Not sure about the other wings but we stayed in the Garden wing and the TV/tech was a little outdated. We could not cast from our mobile phones to the TV (like youtube / netflix) 2) The “fridge” in the room was not cold enough to store some of our baby stuff so we had to pass it to the hotel and request it every time we needed it. Slightly inconvenient. Though I understand if you book the family rooms, normal fridges would be provided. But I booked a normal room so it didnt have this normal/full fridge.

I have sent all reasons to hotel: 1. Complimentary extension of checkout requested for 1 hour, however only 30 mins were granted. This was also charged, which is insane because it was meant to be complimentary 2. Bookings made via booking.com was not considered for circle points 3. Inconvenient shuttle to MRT, start time of 11 am is too late

We know Shangri-La hotels for > 30 years. The standard is very high, so are the costs. Our room was the smallest we have been in for ages! (for approx. 270€/night without breakfast!)

In spite of the high prices we got approx 5 mail before we arrived, telling us that if we really wanted comfort and high class service we should upgrade. What sort of marketing is that, boasting because of their high class service and at the same time calling it insufficient! I told the reception, but the management would not comment on that!

The room was very good but spoiled with the large writing bureau in the bay window, which would have been better with sofa or couple of chairs. We booked a Horizon club room, this allowed access to the club lounge which we used to relax in and it was good value for money, for breakfast we used the main restaurant on day one which was good and offered everything you could ever need, on the other days we used the club lounge for a more relaxing start to the day. We also spent a day at the pool, and this was really great, it certainly was a haven in the city. The MRT transport station is about a 20 min walk, and very easy and cheap to use. Please note Singapore is almost a cashless city, even the 7-Elevens only take card payment.

My stay at Hotel Shangri-La Singapore was a memorable experience. The staff's professionalism, the comfortable accommodation, delectable food, and prime location far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delightful and hassle-free stay. I'm already looking forward to returning!

It is a really family friendly hotel and is great with families with young kids. They also were able to provide a stroller for the duration of our stay, this helped us immensely in getting around. The garden wing was very aesthetically pleasing and we as a family loved exploring the waterfall and other sights within the hotel.

They took a deposit of 1000 SGD in addition to room and other charges, these were not refunded back minus the other charges. Also the restaurants were completely swamped and had a long waiting for the buffet breakfast.

Fantastic service, very clean and loved the breakfast buffet.

Het hotel heeft alle faciliteiten , goede service, comfortabele kamers en een tropische binnen -en buitentuin. Zeer vriendelijke medewerkers en goede after departure service.

Excellent for kids and families, very friendly staff, beautiful pool and grounds, room service food was very good.

Bit stingy on teas etc especially considering cost per night, fresh milk in the room would be great too instead of powdered crema. Disappointed that tennis court was an added cost rather than complimentary for guests like the pool and gym.

This is our second time staying here with our two young children and it's wonderful. They really know their customer and make it such a pleasant experience for families. It's equally lovely for children and adults, we all loved the buffet breakfast, everything you could ever want was there. We had some lovely afternoons in the lobby lounge which was really relaxing and some fun pool time. Perfect.
