Lovely location with helpful and very friendly staff. Very comfortable indeed and the food was excellent too.

taxis were not cheap, most expensive was €35+ to the main train station, the taxi drivers were certainly adding extra to the cost because we were visitors staying at a nice hotel, even tried to argue the point that the same taxi the day before was over €10 less 🤷‍♀️ not a nice feeling knowing you’re being taken advantage of 🙁

amazing traditional Italian hotel that you wouldn't get in the city centre. room was excellent, very clean and windows opened up to overlook the river. recommend using the spa whilst there. staff were very friendly and helpful

Great points - the two ladies at front desk are super helpful. The pool is clean and not too busy. The view is lovely. The beds were clean and the décor throughout is beautiful.

Whilst a pleasant stay, there were various areas that would deter us from staying again. Food - the food was very good but the menu did not change for dinner at all during our 9 day stay. There are few options for kids. The room service is not functional and I had to go downstairs to order room service several times which defied the point of room service! The hotel food isn’t built to eat there frequently enough. I suspect most guests had a car and we’re able to travel to restaurants since there is only one restaurant in walking distance. Location - in reality you need a car to stay here especially if you plan to be in the Centre daily lest the cab costs will mount up. Whilst the shuttle is in place, it’s not frequent enough. Pool - whilst very clean, there’s no staff by the pool. No lifeguard and no staff for pool service.

The room was a little basic and the river view was only partial. The bed wasn’t too comfortable.

The hotel had elegance and class, unmistakably Italian in decor. Views over the river are stunning and dining Al fresco with the sun setting was a highlight. Great service, food, ambience and welcoming of our two young daughters

the people at this property made this a very nice experience. the rooms and overall facilities were very clean and well kept and the amenities were nice

location; too far from city center, however the people (staff) were very kind and helpful. the bathroom had tile steps up from the sink to the bath and toilet which were not fun at night when you’re groggy, because there was no hand rail
