Lovely location in the woods, beautiful, stylishly renovated historic room with fabulous views in both directions (suite des jardins), very good evening meal and breakfast, delightful and helpful owner, gorgeous new pool, good bikes to borrow.

Had a great stay. Peaceful and well cared for family home. Our host was very friendly and gracious. Loads of history here in this 1792 Château. New pool with auto retractable cover was very refreshing and loungers with umbrellas made the afternoon perfect. Breakfast was made with care and served on high quality China with equally high quality cutlery. Of the eight Chateau's we stayed at this was ranked #3 only because it was a bit more money than the others, but in turn you certainly get more for that extra money too. Definitely worth the visit!

We really enjoyed the castle and its surrounding areas. Also, the services were of high quality and the staff were very helpful and considerate of our needs!

Great Chateau if you want to visit Chambord and the Loire Valley. We had a nice stay and we enjoyed a good breakfast (with local products & cheese!). The owner is such a nice lady, we had small talks and she recommended us some places in order to do wine tastings.

The appartement is a nice choice if traveling with family - attention to the noisy floor :)

Claudine was exceptionally friendly and informative on our arrival, even booking us a place for dinner that evening. We stayed in the attic which has a cinema room, the kids loved this and so did we once they were in bed! Breakfast was excellent and served in a magnificent room.

There was nothing to 'not like'

After many weeks spent working from home and home schooling the children a change of scenery for our whole family was exactly what we needed! This gorgeous Chateau is located in a peaceful, but easily accessible location and we booked it as a treat on a drive further south. We had the whole top floor so had plenty of room and our own bathroom. Claudine prepared us a lovely dinner (extra) with local ingredients and breakfast (included), both of which we chose to eat outside in the open air. Before continuing on our journey, we borrowed bikes and enjoyed the natural surroundings on a family bike ride. I would say given the unusual times we are in, a stay at this Chateau is an opportunity to be distant but in a way that feels very natural and gives a much needed boost to your soul!

Really good family suite nestled on top floor of chateau....kids loved their room and huge play area. Chateau is beautifully situated and we took advantage of free bikes to do a long bike ride in the morning - this was all on tracks next to chateau and hardly saw a car the whole time! Really yummy breakfast too!

Beautiful Chateau! Fantastic property, relaxing backyard and surrounding area was gorgeous. Very close to Chateau Chambord. Claudine and Emmanuel were so welcoming and friendly. Also, dinner both nights was absolutely delicious!!!!
