Hotel was in beautiful location, Owner Shaun and Sandra was so helpful and made us tasty dinner. Breakfast was very good. Hotel hygine was excellent. I would prefer to go again and will recommande others to go. Over all I was very happy.

Breakfast was wonderful. There was lots of choice and although we ate very little, by choice, everything was lovely.

This was my second stay at Afon Duad which has been 11 nights in total. It is everything an Inn should be. Good food which is locally sourced. Room was small (as advertised) but was comfortable and included everything needed. Bar was well-stocked and reasonably priced. Adequate free on-site parking. The hosts, Sandra & Sean are a credit to the Inn and the local community.

This was my second visit, so no complaints.

The location is a little tricky as parking is directly off a busy main road on a hill. The staff/owners were very friendly. Breakfast begins at 8am which was a little late for my purposes, but I was offered a packed sandcich of choice and a fruit drink as an alternative. The room was a little small but good enough for the one night I was staying. There were decent and clean en-suite facilities and the bed was comfortable. For the price, I consider that this place was good value.

I couldn't get the TV to work properly despite the hotel updating the batteries in what I think is a faulty remote handset.

Location for nature walks. Excellent hosts and great local feel with good natured guests. Parking on-site and one of the best WIFI signals ever. Can live stream movies and the like.

Though it was self catering accommodation, we were expecting at least handwash in the bathroom. When asked to the staff, she shiwed the way to a shop of the next village. I understand it was self catered accommodation, but just a hand-wash which cost a pound was even not provided.

Conveniently situated on a main A road, this quietly unassuming property is ideal for touring the area. The hosts are two of the most helpful, friendly and engaging people I have ever met. All meals are cooked using locally sourced quality ingredients and there is a good variety of options. Decent variety of drinks in the smallish bar area which is also frequented by welcoming local people. My room, though quite small, had a comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities, en-suite toilet and efficient shower and everything else needed for a comfortable stay. I have travelled extensively in the UK and this is one of the few places that I have genuinely not wanted to leave.

From my viewpoint there was no down-side to this property.

This hotel is on my favourite places to stay list.Very clean, food was fabulous. Shaun & Sandra were exceptional hosts, nice and friendly they made me feel very welcome. I will be booking again next time I'm in the area
