Great location although the front of the property is empty and boarded up so it’s not the most welcoming on first arriving. Great location though, easy walking to all major attractions.

The hotel is located at the centre where you can find most of the main attraction areas. Quick check in/out , very friendly staff, room was spacious considering the European standard. The availability of the biscuits and coffee at the mini bar.

Expensive hotel but it is worth if you look for something clean and comfortable.

Location is very good if you pretend to be next to most touristic attractions in Edingburgh. Room is clean and average confort. Breakfast is very good, but with few options and not fast, you have to request and wait more than 20 minutes for it.

Camas, localização e atendimento. Os atendentes foram muito atenciosos, minhas filhas e uma amiga viajaram de ferias e só tem elogios para o hotel, muito obrigada por terem as recebido tão bem, adoraram o café da manhã também.

Die Altstadt mit ihren vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Größe des Zimmers war für 4 Personen ausreichend. Das Frühstück im Rabble war ausgezeichnet.

An erholsamen Schlaf war nicht zu denken, da unser Zimmer nicht nur sehr hellhörig war sondern auch zur Straßenseite lag. Dort liegen sehr gut besuchte Pubs mit einem ziemlich lauten Publikumsverkehr. Auf der Straße wurde sich laut unterhalten, gesungen, auch geschrien. Die Fenster waren extrem alt und undicht. Man konnte sie durch den Lärm nicht öffnen, hat aber trotzdem jeden Krach miterlebt. Im Bad fehlte die Toilettenbürste. Das Frühstück mussten wir auch am Abreisetag bezahlen, obwohl wir es durch unseren zeitigen Flug nicht zu uns nehmen konnten. Für eine Umbuchung zum Lunchpaket sollte man 24h vorher Bescheid geben.

Bagno piccolissimo e senza comodità, assenza di prodotti nel frigo bar, assenza di prese vicino al letto. La camera situata estremamente vicina alla reception, poca la privacy ,eccessivo il rumore della porta del corridoio.

Really nice hotel, the staff has been very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The restaurant, which served the breakfast, has been outstanding. The bedroom was also very nice. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to shops, attractions and restaurants.

Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Robert gave my sister and I a warm welcome on arrival and let us have the room a bit earlier, very welcome after travelling some distance, from early morning. It was also a huge plus to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out, freeing us up to take in the sights without lugging around cumbersome bags, before travelling home.

It's only a slight downside that the breakfast is served offsite, across the road. That being said they serve breakfast until 11am and it was delicious, well worth crossing the road for.

Het hotel ligt perfect gelegen in het centrum. De kamers waren gedateerd maar zeker schoon. In het hotel zijn geen faciliteiten, echter heb je deze niet nodig als je de stad gaan verkennen. In de nabije omgeving zitten diverse ontbijt/lunch/avondeten mogelijkheden.

Het bed was zeer klein en hard. Het betreft een twee persoons bed maar is daarvoor net te klein.

A dark room in the basement with a window that didn't open. Useless fan in the bathroom that didn't remove the steam. Apart from that, an acceptable room. My rating goes out to the male receptionist (who was there Friday morning June 30). Here goes: I booked a room with breakfast for 4 days on Booking.com. According to the receptionist, I did not order breakfast, and he refused to let me have it. I showed him my receipt that clearly stated, "price includes breakfast". I thought that would be the end of the discussion, but no, it didn't convince him one bit. He just kept arguing that this was a common mistake, and since the information he had on his computer was different from my receipt, I had to pay if I wanted breakfast. I argued with him for more than 20 minutes before he finally agreed to call Booking.com. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes while listening to the guy from Booking.com telling the receptionist that I did, in fact, order breakfast. Finally, he reluctantly handed me a breakfast voucher - no excuses for letting me wait. But he did spend another few minutes explaining to me that this was not his fault – and it probably wasn't, but who cares. He could just have handed me the voucher when I showed him my receipt and cleared things out with Booking.com afterward. This is not an acceptable way to treat guests.
