Location Location Location. This is at the prime place and closer to everything - the parks, beaches, restaurants, night markets, name it and you are close to it.

The WIFI access is poor in my room. I had to stay in the common area to get any signal. The reception is mostly closed. They expect that anyone can make phone calls. When most international customers arrive into Cairns, how can they expect them to make phone calls?

Very convenient to move around. The room is clean and very cozy. Love the furniture and fixtures.

The wi-fi is very unstable. Heard from staff they are doing some upgrading at this time. Hopefully there will be wi-fi as people do find this a necessity.

For the price and location, this is a great place to stay

No better spot in terms of location. Close to cafes, supermarket, Cairns central shopping center, the esplanade, train to Kuranda etc etc. All walking distance. Easy after hours check in. We had the unit with pool access with a perfect view to watch the nye fireworks. We stayed for 6 nights. The kitchenette was a great size to cook light meals, make coffee. The apartment has a great size living room and we made use of the washing machine and dryer. The courtyard style of the hotel reminds you of Italy. It's quiet and you don't hear the noises of outside.

This is not a negative as it didn't impact our stay or experience although the room could be updated in terms of carpet, styling etc.

The location was perfect, couldn’t have had a better spot! It was beside the night markets, and you walk through the market arcade to reach the esplanade nice and fast and it was just a short short stroll to cafes and bars and the Casino. The pool was lovely to relax in in the afternoons. Having a washing machine and dryer was so handy too!

Stay there whenever we can get in when we go to cairns

Great central location but quiet and peaceful inside the apartment. Cairns is a lovely city with lots to see and do in town and surrounding areas.

Hard to get entry when we arrived late at night. Also the initial uncertainty about our parking space, which was eventually resolved.

We were on the ground floor and felt a bit hemmed in, a higher floor balcony room may have been better.

The hotel is fantastically located in the centre of Cairns close to everything. The room was large and well appointed. The hot water didn't work at first but staff worked hard to get it rectified.

A longer stay

Room was modern and furnished with style.

Electronic Toto toilet was not functioning when we arrived and couldn’t not be fixed until the following day. Staff offered us access to another suite at the other end of the building until it was fixed. Not ideal having to wander the open hallway in the middle of the night! This should have been priced by housekeeping staff when they cleaned and repaired the room. No formal apology for this was forthcoming from hotel staff. The operator from the out of hours message service who solved the problem for me was very good.
