It's noisy doors and bathroom is not good for elderly

Two of the three requested beds were comfortable. The instructions, breakfast and location: practical. Lots of recommendations for nearby services.

The third bed turned out to be more like an extra request rather than a proper bed. Wi-fi password was nowhere to be found. The place was cluttered and there were hardly spots to put things on. The shower/bathtub had no curtain so a mess on the floor was guaranteed no matter how careful you were.

Nice country cottage style accommodation. Comfortable bed, warm and cosy. Easy check in

The trip to the airport. Had to book a taxi. Ride took literally 4 minutes. £27 standard charge. Made staying at the White house more expensive than at the airport hotels!! Not the hotels fault but hard to swallow that cost.

Pretty bathroom, Fresh fruit for breakfast, clean and comfortable towels, close to bus stop for Stansted.

No hot water in the shower/tub. Extremely cold room, cold draft from both windows, no warm covers, one bed was broken and kept falling apart. Two of the beds were simply foldout cots, very uncomfortable. When we arrived from the airport close to midnight there was no key in the key box as promised so we couldn’t get inside until the landlord showed up. Many pieces of the furniture were old and broken and the floors were freezing cold. No table or chairs to sit and eat the breakfast and no space between beds or elsewhere in the room so we had to sit on the beds and eat. The bathroom was in a shared hallway. The door to the room didn’t close properly.

A house full of character. Plenty of facilities. The proprietor was very helpful. Being able to leave the car at the property for a week was a big bonus. Cheaper than at the airport, but a lot more secure.

Directions were accurate, instructions to get into the property were straight forward. Good comfortable room. alternative to cows milk provided on request. parking straight forward.

No plug socket in front of mirror to dry hair. as breakfast facilities were outside the room another guest took some of our breakfast. a sign on the fridge letting others know that fridge was for our room may prevent this.

Perfect location for my needs at the time, very good and clear email instructions. Beautiful room with all you’ll need during your stay. I also found that the very helpful room information provided covers all your additional needs such as for food, taxi services etc.

Nothing. only i found the multi jet shower a little different to use and work out.

Lovely room (Aqua) in a characterful little house, with a comfortable bed and lush "rain effect" shower with consistent temperature (normal showerhead also present but not tried). Quiet location but walking distance to local amenities (we didn't need anything so can't comment on these). Perfect for a romantic night/weekend away. Our own plans were partly cancelled very last-minute, meaning we only needed one night instead of two, and this was accommodated and refunded easily (thank you!). The house has gorgeous wooden beams and doors, some lower parts to the ceiling, and slightly sloping floors - typical of really old buildings and SO cozy. The room was spotless, with full continental breakfast put in the mini-fridge for us to enjoy at our leisure in the morning. Hassle-free checking in and out and responsive owners made this pretty perfect all round!

Very close to the airport which is why else booked it. Property was very clean, instructions for arrival were very well explained.

I needed a good internet connection to get an American visa and couldn’t get one. this was the only drawback

The lovely cosy atmosphere, comfy bed and attention to detail. It's a character property that people from abroad may not understand but the old cottage style us very much appreciated in the UK. In my experience the owners are genuinely there to help and I personally love the place.

The only little problem was for older people with walking or stair problems. It's situated on the first floor with steps. But there is a rail to help.

Radiator crashed off wall windows drafty and moldy

Breakfast provided was nice

We thought the wall decor needed a revamp, was a bit worn. The TV was very small and far away from the bed and had a green stripe all the way through the screen which was a bit annoying. The double bed was 2 beds pushed together which was OK but could feel a ridge down the middle.

Being able to arrive and get into the guest house with a keysafe. Having breakfast in the room and being able to check out at midday.

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

Clean and comfortable room. Not the best but good breakfast. Breakfast in the refrigerator, which is convenient if you fly out at night. Complete lack of staff. Free wi-fi. Free parking. We rented a room for three.

It would be more logical to swap the shower room and toilet room. There is too much space for the toilet and very little space for the shower.
