The bed, pillows and carpeting were very worn. Breakfast was self-serve, but weird in that you actually had to open packaging and get out what you wanted and then put it back in the refrigerator; all while strangers waited to grab what they wanted. There was just a missing link in this stay.

We loved the self check-in concept where we grab our room key from a lockbox at the front door, simple but effective and without the faff. Very modern decor of the room we stayed in, it was bright, clean and ultra comfy! The facilities were amazing and we did not expect the kitchenette downstairs filled with free extras like milk, fruit juices, smoothies and cappuccino sachets, these were a great added bonus! Oh and did I say the breakfast was a big selection and all catered for!

The only thing we didn't like was the sound of people talking very loudly outside our window. Our room was one a the back of the B&B and we heard either the owners or cleaners talking to late one night in particular, just something to be aware of but overall we loved it!

We had a fantastic stay at Anvershiel House, check in was smooth (loved the fact I didn't have to provide arrival time which can be tricky). Room was big, clean and comfy and had everything you might need for a short or long stay. Self service breakfast gives hostel vibes but there is plenty of choice so no one will be left disappointed. Location is away from the main area of Portrush but still very close to the beach, cafe's and bar. Parking space for each room which was the reason we booked. Highly recommend staying here.

Hard bed mattress was not to my liking and water pressure was low in the shower but this would not influence me to not stay here again.

Would prefer cooked breakfast, otherwise plenty of variety in self serve continental b/fast.

More like a hostel, never saw host unless rang his door bell. Stayed 10 days given only room with no view, could not get shower head and shower screen fixed until last day of my stay. I came home to find my door wide open key in lock and no staff inside.

Informal breakfast. Spacious room at a good price. Easy to book. Good communications including restaurant recommendations. Very good spot for the Causeway and coast.

Too hot and stuffy except for the shower room that was the opposite if anything.
