Breakfast was outstanding, the best we have ever had, and plenty of choice. Superb! Also the blankets on the chairs outside, what a fantastic idea as it gets chilly in the evenings. We declined the offer of clean towels on one of our days and were rewarded with a £5 voucher for the bar, again, what a fantastic gesture to reward your clients. Well done Hotel Voco.

The toilet in our room needed a bottle of bleach poured down it and left to soak. This was a big disappointment. Also location is a fair walk into the centre of town. Maybe the hotel could do with a little mini seater to do runs into the town for guests. I am sure that would be much appreciated as it is quite lonely walking back from the town at night.

Very poor evening menu for vegetarians or healthy eaters. Terrible problems with the bathroom - broken fittings, bath drain blocked with gunk and hair, totally disgusting. Very dirty under restaurant taables.

Unable to lower the room temperature as we had to shut the window. Air conditioning was quite noisy and we normally sleep with a bedroom temperature of less than 19 degrees C. A bit dark walking back to the hotel from the city centre as the path lights were not lit outside the hotel.

From the outside, the hotel looks pleasant but unexceptional however, that all changes when you enter the foyer. All I can say is 'wow'! The modern, minimalistic decor is beautiful and and there's a nice vibe throughout. The only thing I can really criticise is the bathroom. Whilst the rooms have been given a face lift and are lovely and modern, the bathroom seems to have been neglected (a few lose bits around shower and bath fittings) but that is really the only criticism I have. Thanks for a lovely stay

The lounge and eating areas were lovely. Clean and going through lovely new refurbishings when we were there. Beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were helpful.

Rush job a little for our room as we were booking in for a graduation and had to get ready. So our room was a tad bit late but staff were really accommodating and got us sorted.

There wasn't any bottled water in the room or any drink options for room service.the view was terrible I looked over construction yard.

The bed was extremely comfortable, including the pillows. The location is perfect - very easy to get to and from the motorway and airport and there is private parking right in front of the door. It’s also very easy to walk to the opera house, restaurants and shops. Lovely restaurant and great breakfast

All the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful when we needed anything (eg: Asking directions / booking a taxi). Allowed us an early check in as the room was available when we asked to store our bags before check in. Very clean. Room was a great size. I made a special request for a picture to be placed in our room as a joke on my partner and they put in 3 of them. We both loved it. Within walking distance of everything we needed.

Nothing. The only minor hiccup was that the room only had hand towels but this was sorted immediately and with an apology when I asked the lady at reception for larger ones.

Nothing is good about this hotel. Avoid.

Poor staff, the food was inedible and vomit inducing. The rooms were awful, dirty, beds collaped in the middle. Cancelled breakfast because food in the restaurant was dreadful, dirty cutlery, dirty glasses poor service.

Bar/restaurant wasn’t open. Have no issues with this however it was disappointing we weren’t notified as nearby facilities were quite a walk especially given the price we paid

The hotel was lovely it is being renovated at the moment, excellent breakfast and food. The location is good but not bang in the centre but a nice walk along the Lagan canal.

The room was nice but had a maintenance sticker on one bedside lampshade and no bulb in the main lamp which left the room very dark to get ready after a shower, or to do makeup, the toilet seat was broke and I nearly fell of the toilet as it sllid completely off when I sat down. The door hanger was broke on the back of the bathroom door there was only a screw in the door. The plug in the sink was near impossible to raise to drain water out of the sink. Overall dissatisfied and a great ack of attention to detail. We we tired in the morning but could not lye on a workmen were hammering and banging in the room next or above us.

It shouldn’t be currently operating as a 4 star hotel . There is a bar which is a hatch in the wall and a cleared out conference room for a restaurant which is like a school canteen The bathroom was dirty

Our room was comfortable but dated, Reception staff were brilliant.

Noise from the building works being carried out, the price of the hotel was quite expensive, especially when the hotel is in the state it is in.

The setting. We were attending a wedding in city hall and deans at queens. Location was perfect and just off the hussle and bussle streets.

The property was very tired, rooms where I’m sure beautiful in their day. And I’m sure once the new owners get stuck in. But the rooms and corridors need some TLC.

The breakfast was reasonable.

The area wasn’t great, surrounded by building sites and no local amenities. Our room wasn’t very clean. Duvet and pillows were poor quality and not very warm. Staff were not overly attentive.

Breakfast itself was outstanding quality and was great, but really did not appreciate the experience the checking in for breakfast. I gave room number, was asked if I had booked breakfast to which I answered yes but the man replied with " I can log in and check in a bit" as if I wasn't believed. Why not have a list of pre booked breakfast rooms

Room was freezing cold and even after an hour of heat been on, cold air was still flying out. And yes, it was set to high temp. Then, room cleanliness was so poor as we found burst anniversary balloons and a card belonging to previous guests . No pods in coffee machine either so pointless.
