Nice rooms and good location.

Hotel manager left on holidays as per our understanding and staff was left on duty with very little knowledge. This resulted in lots of frustration as they couldn’t answer the Simplest questions.

I loved the gardens, the chakra walk, the mirador to watch the sunsets. Laura, the owner of Hotel Holistico was amazing - so helpful and knowledgeable about holistic practices - and the location was great: within walking distance of the town and yet in the heart of the Cloud Forest too 🌳

The garden was pretty nice and offered a great atmosphere and the room had large windows.

When we arrived, the person at the reception informed us that they don't have any room available for the first night of our stay (they overbooked). They eventually found us another hotel for the first night and offered us an upgrade to a challet room. However, the replacement hotel (Rustico) had very badly isolated rooms and you could hear all the sounds from outside, especially the wind blowing and that caused us poor sleeping. On top of this, the cleanliness of the hotel could be improved: the toilet wasn't exactly clean and there was dust on several spots in the room, showing that it wasn't used/touched for a while. There were only 2 large towels provided, but no hand/face towels. The location isn't bad, but if you wanna walk to the centre of Santa Elena it takes about 25 minutes and it's not the most pleasant walk as there's no sidewalk for the most part and cars pass by frequently on the main road with speed, so you're better off using the car.

Location, surroundings, quite and peaceful place.

The vibe of the owner and property is spectacular. I would recommend this place eyes closed to anybody. The owner goes beyond to make you feel like your at home. Kindness and Love is what reflects this property. Stop looking and sonyourself a favor and Book this place.

Nature, the armadillo living under our hut, the family constellation session and the two Lauras made our experience fantastic.

To get to town it’s a 15 min walk and during the rainy season it could be a bit of a hassle.

I stayed two nights at this hotel and it was and absolutely great experience. I really recommend this place if you want peace and comfort. It is close to everything and Laura is so helpful and supportive with your needs.

Good breakfast, with local and international options. Small but nice room. Located in a quiet area, near from the main rainforest areas and ziplines in the area. Free parking. Nice owner.

Toilet not working fine the first night, but they did their best and it was solved for the rest of the stay.

Breakfast was excellent. Good food offerings. Everyone very helpful.

Had two rooms - one had coffee pot and the other did not. No towels when we arrived - had to go to desk.
