Location was great. Metro station just outside and not far from most attractions in Singapore. Great it had a pool and the rooms were nice and large. Staff were very helpful.

Not much but if I have to be picky the decor is a bit bland.

Perheemme (2 aikuista + 5-vuotias lapsi) yöpyi 8 yötä huoneistossa, jossa oli pieni keittiö olohuoneen yhteydessä sekä erillinen makuuhuone, jossa lisänä vaatehuone. Huone oli siisti, tilava ja hiljainen. Sänky oli iso ja mukava, keittiöstä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen (jääkaappi-pakastin, mikro, uuni, keittölevyt, astiat jne.) ja kaikki huoneessa toimi kuten piti. Hotellista löytyi myös pesutupa (maksullinen), jossa pystyi pesemään pyykit. Hotellin katolla sijaitseva uima-allas oli ihana! Tavallisen uima-altaan lisäksi löytyi lastenallas sekä poreallas, ja viihdyimme katolla lapseni kanssa melkein joka päivä. Hotelli myös sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla: Bencoolenin MRT-aseman oli aivan vieressä, minkä lisäksi mm. Bugis ja Dhoby Ghaut olivat kävelymatkan päässä. Läheltä löytyi paljon ravintoloita ja ostoskeskuksia. Itse katu, jolla hotelli sijaitsi, oli yllättävän rauhallinen keskeisestä sijainnistaan huolimatta. Kaiken kaikkiaan perheemme oli todella tyytyväinen hotelliin!

Pesutupa tuntui vähän ylihinnoitellulta: 9 SGD/pesu + 9 SGD/kuivaus, joten yhden pyykkikorillisen hinnaksi tuli yhteensä 18 SGD...

Locations is possibly the best, with a MRT station just across, a pickup point right outside the hotel and good food all around. The staff were fantastic, and the ability to inform the duty manager of any shortfalls via whatsapp was genius.

The aircon in the hall leaked and was struggling towards the end of the stay. The tap in the common bathroom was much to high pressured.

Kitchen facilities, separate living room from bedroom, water purifier in the suite. There is a food court very near the hotel.

The temperature of the air-conditioning was difficult to control. The rooms would turn too cold despite a 22 degree C setting. At one instance, water started to drip onto the floor.

Great location across from the Metro and easy walking to explore. Room a good size, great having the separate lounge and aircon in both rooms (bit noisy though). Kitchen well equipped.

Noise from corridor and room across the hall, better sound-proofing required. Noisy air-con unit, did keep us nice n cool tho when needed. Bathroom clean but really dated. Minor issue, but no aircon and poor lighting in the lift (difficult to read the buttons at times)

Honestly everything was great. The toaster may need replacing in room 507 as it burnt the toast in seconds but otherwise incredible facilities 😊

The room was spacious, loved it, the facilities were excellent had everything that you needed, very clean and tidy, very close to the MRT plus pick up ramp for taxis and buses if required. Very easy to walk to most places of interest. Staff were lovely, always had a smile and very helpful..

Early check-in was super helpful after our long flight from California!! We were able to get into the room at noon and get to sleep right away. Quiet corridors and sound proofing was adequate. MRT station and 7-11 just across the street and Waterloo food court on the corner as well. Communication in advance of the stay was good.

Sounds coming from the AC like water bubbling were odd but we used a white noise app to drown it out. $100 per day for the extra rollaway seems like a lot. Bathroom needs updating. There was slight flooding from the shower and a little smell.

Great value for money & good location to mostly everything on foot (Fort Canning Park, Museums) but situated across from the Bencoolen MRT which will take you pretty much anywhere in Singapore. The room in our first stay looked refreshed compared to the 2nd one. The bathroom had a bathtub which was a bonus compared to the next room on our return trip. Either way, well appointed enough for a comfortable stay with good beds, showers and AC. Staff were very accommodating and helpful which is always a big plus.

Not much! Great all round apartment like accommodation compared to standard hotel room which comes with standard sized fridge, toaster, WIC, pool/gym and clothes washing facilities - NICE!

Location was quite central to my needs. Great privacy.

The only thing missing was restaurant facilities within the hotel. The shower was adequate but pressure could of been higher but still did the job.

Our planned trip to Singapore with family was disrupted by an injury before we'd left home. As a result we had to rearrange our booking. The staff at Somerset Bencoolen were extraordinarily helpful in assisting deal with the changes. 10/10. Our family had a very good few days there.

The studio was good. Enough space with plenty of storage which is good. Staff was lovely and space were clean. The only thing that was most unacceptable was the breakfast. Everything was cold and soggy. There were the bread, eggs, some fried nuggets, some cereals. It was the same everyday for 10 days that I gave up eating because it was the most terrible spread. The floor was often oily even at 8 am. Wish the cafe could have at least kept the fried nuggets warm and maybe provide some nasi lemak. These are not expensive. It was obvious that they can't be bothered. So many guests came and left immediately after seeing the spread. S0 don't pay $15++ for breakfast Eat down the road. Cheaper and much better food.

We arrived early after a long flight from Munich - the staff were very helpful in allowing us early access to the room. The room was neat & tidy and located very close to all public transport. The pool area was a welcome respite in the hot & humid Singapore weather

Whilst it had all the facilities, the cooking area was a bit cheap - the drawers were a bit sticky & were of cheap quality (hopefully this will be fixed up during the ongoing renovations). On a small note the room which has a full kitchen only provided 2 plates (dinner, desert, bread plates & 2 knives, forks & spoon). A dishwasher would have been nice. They also only provided 1 huge pot & frying pan which made the cooking options a bit limited.

We know that Singapore accommodation is atypically expensive so for a bit more we were very happy to have the 'living room' space as well as the kitchen to eat anytime we wanted to.

We were happy to buy the food and dish it up whenever we wanted and the crockery/cutlery etc was sufficient. But there is no point having salt and pepper shakers if you do not provide salt or pepper. We felt stupid checking both interconnecting rooms to see if either had actual salt or pepper shakers and then went down stairs and was told they dont provide salt and pepper - this is a very basic necessary service. The booking system said that there was a dining room table. There isn't any - just a coffee table to be eaten off with a single arm rest chair and a very deep lounge which makes for awkward eating. But we really loved the space.

The staff told us to book for extension that we would pay for extra 6 hours on the morning but found out there was no vacancy so we had to look for another hotel in short notice.

It was perfectly located, close to many things; good eating places around, excellent staff. The apartment was very clean, serviced every day, and had good facilities.

Nothing really, although paper towels in the kitchen would have been useful.
