the staff and location plus value for money.

It is a bit of an older hotel which seems to be well maintained.
It is very close to Hull Royal Infirmary
I stayed in a small self contained room. The bathroom was small such that my body would touch the wall while bathing.
I guess bigger rooms may have better facilities.

Beautiful garden. The twin room was very nice and the beds extra comfy. John is an excellent host. We enjoyed having a nice chat in the evening in the bar.

Spacious room, clean bedding. beautiful back garden, not that we used it, but could if we wanted to.
Staff really chatty and helpful.
The room smelled of smoke.
The single room shower cubical was full of muck. No hot water from the sink taps. The bathrooms had no ventilation, so we're stuffy and smelled.
Needs a bit of tlc to get it up to scratch. If the hotel had as much attention paid to it as the garden it would be lovely.

The owner was so friendly and accommodating. He made our stay lively, and I so much enjoyed staying there.

Everything was fine. A friendly and straightforward host there to greet me, a clean, quiet (despite it being the weekend) and comfortable room, 15 minutes max walk from the station and another 6 from the museums. What more could I want? The host was tolerant of my absent-mindedness. I'd definitely go there again.

Friendly, helpful, hospitable. Provided me with a comfortable base to sleep peacefully - and they were happy to let me stay there until just after 11 in the morning, which was helpful.

It was quiet, with a very comfortable bed. The gated parking made it feel secure. It's close to the city center.
The shower wasn't great and took me a few days to get used to. It oscillated between boiling and freezing. I got used to it in the end (heat about 8 on eco mode)

Friendly and helpful staff. My room didn't have curtains so they moved me another room straight away

The hosts were absolutely fantastic. Honestly Gad an absolute cracking time. Would one million percent stay here again. Amazing value for money, and the absolute best thing was the super cool garden bar!! Brilliant place.
