The bed was very basic and quite uncomfortable. The TV was mounted on the wall way too high. A kettle and cups in the room would be nice

Worst stay I’ve ever had in a hotel! The room I was put in was in the basement where there was a lock on the stairs door, unsure of this purpose but if there was a fire that could have been problematic, as bars on the window in our room. The room was disgusting, floor think with old dirt and dust, not been hovered, one curtain to cover the window which it did not and people on the street could view us getting changed. Sink in the room had not been cleaned, a ring of grime went around the soap bottle. Shared bathroom facilities were not cleaned, used dirty towel remained on the floor for days, bodily fluids and hair all over toilet and hair in the shower. NO SOAP TO WASH HANDS IN A SHARED BATHROOM!!!! Staff not friendly or approachable! Only thing that seemed cleaned was the bed sheets! And dear god I hope they were! 😅

A budget hotel in a very good location in central London. No big upsells, room was clean and wasn't at an unpleasant temperature

No en-suite (as expected, but would have been nice) Walls could do with a lick of paint

The whole experience

Very friendly staff, obviously an amazing location, and honestly a perfectly good room. Sure it's not super luxurious, but it isn't luxury price. If you're looking for a comfy bed to sleep in after a day out in the city, this is ideal.

Wish it had a couple more basic facilities i.e. hairdryer, and the wardrobe wasn't in good condition, we just kept our clothes in our bags.

Good location very near the British Museum.

No breakfast offer, no remote control for tiny TV, window could not be closed, no hanging space nor drawers for clothes, ‘en suite’ was a small plastic unit put into corner of room, could not lean over wash basin due to empty plastic soap holder in the way, not very clean, in desperate need of redecoration, scuff marks on walls, squeaky bed, etc, etc…

No relief from heat during heatwave. Cracks in walls. Dirty floors and walls. Bathroom tiny and not functional. Extremely outdated. Hairs on bed sheets.
