Quaint wee town and nice and quite hotel. Everything you needed around you. Only stayed for 1 night before airport, wished we stayed a little longer. Mix up the taxi arrival time but the manager stepped up and took us to the airport

The breakfast is absolutely amazing and is a must try. The staff is very friendly. It is be very comfortable to stay as a family with kids as kids would have own room.

This hotel has everything going for it. Beautiful setting, the zoo within the grounds, proximity to the small, cute town, and amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely would recommend a stay here.

The location is historic in an old castle partly a ruin but partly done up very tasteful. The reception was excellent The hosts very lovely people with a heart for their property. The breakfast was lovely well made and very tasteful definitely a place to recommend when you want a romantic stay over.
I really can't think about anything which was not taken care of.

We had such an amazing stay here! The lady who welcomed us at the reception was very friendly, and when she found out it was our 1-year anniversary she arranged a bottle of bubbles for us. We stayed in the Asian room, which was lovely. Super comfy bed, and luxury bathroom. The location is stunningly beautiful. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was sufficient, I enjoyed the fact that there was regional and homemade produce. Personally I am not a big fan of too much on offer for breakfast so found everything adequate and the staff very friendly and helpful.
There was nothing I did not like as the stay exceeded my expectations. We were just staying for the night so basically needed a comfortable bed. The place is charming and very relaxing.

Honestly this place is amazing. We stayed in the deluxe suit and the value for money at this place exceeded all the suits I’ve ever stayed in. It even has a roof that slides open, I mean what more do you want?

The breakfast was excellent, it was priced well for the area. The fresh breads were heavenly. We were the only people having breakfast on our first morning and they went out of their way to present a lovely table just for 2. Eggs were cooked well. The room was amazing. A mid week stay and we had the Sterne Zimmer. It was worth every penny. Loved loved the double bathtubs. We also liked the little history lesson about the rebuilding of the castle tower.
I really have nothing bad to say. Generally don't like hotel pillows, so I would recommend maybe getting tempur-pedic pillows, then I wouldn't have to travel with mine from home.

Nice location
Musty rooms, not been used a lot lately obviously. Asked for a child bed at check in at 2pm - at 7 pm it was still not in the room. It’s overrated and overpriced.

Staff, location, my room, cleanlines, and overall a beautiful property.
There were no refrigerator, knives and forks, in the room.
