The location was good. Staff were very helpful. Close to the beach. Great views. Bit of a walk into Taormina town but we got used to it.

The spectacular view and the sound of the sea, the gardens and the birdsong, the pool, the lovely staff and the atmosphere of peace and tranquility. We would love to go back.

The kitchen could have been a bit better equipped, but we managed fine.

Our room was comfortable and spacious and the pool was great!

Briefly: everything was absolutely perfect, a true holiday paradise. The location, the view, the room, the other guests and especially the genuine kindness of the staff and the owners, Helena and Antonio. Their son Giovanni became a true friend to us. We've had one of the best time of our lives at Terra Rossa. Walter and Alexandra - Oudenaarde ( Belgium).

Road access to parking area a bit narrow and stressful. Location generally great but novelty of having to walk up or downhill to get to restaurants etc. might wear off eventually.

Not any restaurants or coffee shops around. You must walk in either direction for a good 10 minutes up a lot of stairs. Would be nice to have something on site for a snack/aperitif.

Bit of a walk to get anywhere which could have been made clearer on the info. Was ok for us but might not suit everyone.

Being half way between beach and town centre. Pool area was nice with great view over Isola Bella. Very clean swimming pool.. Breakfast was very good. Birdsong in the morning.

Garden view room was a bit dark. Beware of getting washing done as they lost my jeans! Very quiet. Nothing to do there in evening. No bar.

Great place to stay at, especially if you want to be close to the beach. The views of the bay are gorgeous at every time of the day. Try and book a room with a sea view, it's worth it. You can walk everywhere, 5 minutes to the beach, 15 minutes to the city, but be prepared to do it at a steep incline and with many steps in the way. If you plan on using a car, use a small one. The streets to and from the property are really narrow. There's free parking 2 minutes away from the property.

The owner was extremely kind and helpful. the apartment was lovely and clean. the views were unbelievable.

The grounds of Terra Ross’s are stunning! It was our favourite place in Sicily and far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed being slightly out of the old town and catching the cable car up the hill of an evening. There are also fantastic local restaurants when you don’t want to go into town.

The sun loungers were not comfortable. Pls get some that you can put your legs up and lie flat.

Pool and view was excellent. Very beautiful garden, excellent spots for sunrise. Vintage style decorations. Breakfast terrace with beautiful view. Good breakfast (for extra fee).

Extra fee for late check-in as our plane was delayed.

What a great little find!! We were working with a modest budget, and so had limited expectations, but this place completely exceeded them. The room was absolutely huge, with a living space that opened up onto the terrace, and we were lucky enough to have a room with a view out to Isola Bella down below. We were visiting for our wedding anniversary, and they were kind enough to gift us a bottle of wine on our arrival, and the calming surroundings were just what we wanted from our escape. We created some amazing memories whilst staying here, and would definitely come back.

The other reviews weren't wrong when they say there were steep hills and steps up and down to get anywhere, but if you're relatively mobile, this shouldn't be a problem - just bring sensible shoes with you. It would also be great if they have proper flat-laying sun loungers by the pool, but the chairs they had there were comfy enough. Overall, this didn't in any way impact how much we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place.

Awesome seaview! - worth a 1000 words. Seling almost any need on the reception, especially big bottles of water which is great! awesome coffee made by the receptionist. Large comfort room with a private balcony which is awesome!

No remote shower head, there is a need to heat the water, pure water pressure, not strong enough conditioner and only in one room, a requirement of throwing the garbage ourselves, no cleaning at all whole stay, expensive parking, not that tasty breakfast.

Great location in terms of view of isola bella. A bit far from the city centre. Not in terms of distance, but in terms of height. If you are not that young or comfortable with climbing a staircase for 15 mins, you´d rather get a car to go to the centre and pay the parking there. My room was good. However it had a broken window (you couldn´t really lock it). When I told the staff, they said it JUST broke when somebody tried to open it in the wrong way.

Amazing view! Great location. Staff were nice and attentive. Wonderful and spacious rooms, we received a 3 bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen and a great terrace. The pool seems nice, but it was a bit cold to try. Breakfast was great. Everything was really good, we enjoyed it all. Thanks!
