Beautiful place, super clean, relaxing, very pleasant .

-the food was great, buffet was awesome and the restaurants were really nice as well - the beach was a small trek away but great scenery on the way to it so no issues, and the beach was great -pool was tons of fun, quiet areas and busy areas, whatever your feeling

i liked the different areas and options available for water fun.

the beach area is super small for the amount of guests that the hotel can have. the transportation availability to/from the beach or the other hotels was bad.

The facilities, the multiple pools, the service, the, the gardens, the activities, the amazing and long beach (one for every taste), the bars, the only adults areas, the location, the tranquility

The room. We had several maintenance issues with it, there was no hot water, the key didn't work, the air conditioner was not working properly, the phone was faulty, etc. Very clean though. Also the inside transportation, it is a very huge resort, there should be extra or more bikes.

Very tasty and plentiful buffet and drinks, wine included. Good pools, good staff, local wildlife running around the site, shuttles to the beach

First room in block 17 run down and right next to the autoroute, so very noisy we swapped to block 4, very good. Difficult to move off the complex without expensive day trips . We had a car so ok. Loungers by pool all reserved by towels! Water park is a tiny area for young kids.

The pool area was nice and enjoyable with good service and free shuttle service to the beach was good. Food was mainly decent with lots of choice. Stay away from chicken unless you like it dry though

Place is big!! Missed some general signs of where to find things such as towel rent and your actual room. Staff unhelpful on the desk when enquiring about transport to other towns nearby and bad information about given about the casino. The drinks are not included! Unfortunately the room wasn't comfortable and we tried to use it as little as possible. The room was big however outdated and full of mosquitos. We spent an hour each evening before bed killing mozzies and still woke up bitten to bits. The mattress was highly uncomfortable and more like a bouncy castle and if you dare to move a toe the other person will bounce up and down.. probably ok for people who don't move whilst asleep! The room smelled humid and of old cigarettes. The curtains didn't close so the light got into the room in the morning. Generally did not get much sleep!

lack luster. we just stayed there for 1 night and we were limited to the buffet and sub par cocktails which we didn’t know. we couldn’t go to any of the other restaurants because we were only there for one night. for families it might be a great value but i wouldn’t stay there again. the food at the buffet was cold and gross. literally didn’t eat for dinner or breakfast. we tried but I won’t do it again. we live here in Mexico and we’re just picking up my sister from Cancun and wanted to give a good experience staying half way to Mahahaul. The beds were comfortable and clean. Very outdated room but not a big deal. When you’re spending that much a night i would expect more.

Everything was lovely! entertainment was great, employees were nice and professional, the property is highly maintained and food was delicious.

The villas are out dated the air conditioning until leaked water through the ceiling on to our suitcase.The smoke detector beeping a few nights then it was fixed.Also the air conditioning control had no adjustment it was stuck on all the time creating a damp and mouldy smell

everything was excellent, definitely going to be back!

The pool area was good. Loved seeing new species of animals walking around unknown to us: coati and guinea pigs. The experience at the Nikkei Mashua restaurant was excellent, very good food and service.

Did not feel like a 5 star hotel. It was busy and the majority of staff members seemed very busy to properly be helpful and provide information when asked. We were told transportation circulated every 10 minutes, not accurate at all. Golf carts sped up in walkways where toddlers, babies, strollers and kids walked. They passed to close to pedestrians. The buffet experience was fair. Food was not labeled properly. Not enough staff members to support the amount of guests. The beach area is too small to fully enjoy it. We believe management has a lot of room to improve to properly staff for the hotel capacity and to train in certain areas.

I loved everything from the cleaning lady from the bellman And the waiters the front desk people, everyone was Fantastic the whole staff was give them all a raise

Nice shuttle service between hotels and beaches, great buffet and drinks, big rooms, animals on site, cool extra animations.

Transport by taxis outside hotel is quite expensive (100USD to the airport, 44USD to PdC, 400MXN to Akumal).

Huge complex, good enterteinment and lots of things to do , food quality in both buffet and restaurants are good

The place is great. Several swimming pools so it does not feel too crowded. A lot of food options, both local and international taste. The kids enjoyed the kid's pool and crafting activities. Drinks are good quality for an all inclusive place. Also good pay options at the restaurants.

There is no beach front, although it is listed as such. It takes a few minutes by cart, though.
