This home is exactly as described. Plenty of room for everyone and beautiful views. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The house was plenty big for the 8 people in my family. We had plenty of room to spread out and have space.
We absolutely enjoyed walking the property with it’s breathtaking views. Yvonne and Doug were so kind and very prompt to respond to all of my questions. Doug was very helpful with giving us advise about the area and the fun things we could do.
We were able to celebrate my daughters 13th birthday. There were cute decorations and a cake waiting for her when we arrived. The surprise made her day!

We enjoyed the ranch house so much with 6 kids and 6 adults. There was plenty of room for us to space out and not feel crowded. It was the perfect little getaway home and provided us with everything we needed while visiting Yellowstone and the Tetons.

While the description on VRBO is technically accurate, I wonder if the reviewers actually stayed in the same house we did.
I left 3 pages of hand written (9 different items) issues that we experienced while staying at this property for 7 days & 6 nights, July 2023, at the property when we checked out, for the owner.
While the property was adequate for our stay, it was definitely NOT what we expected for the money we paid.

The property was even better in reality than the listing showed! The configuration of bedrooms was perfect for our four couples, our 20-year old son and two young great nephews. The views are amazing and Doug and Yvonne were very accommodating and responsive to any needs and questions we had. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

The peaceful log home, Ranch House, near Yellowstone was everything we imagined. It is very spacious. The place was immaculately clean and the views were amazing. The property manager communicated with us frequently and was available to answer any questions. We would recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a beautiful area with peaceful surroundings.

Doug and Yvonne were both wonderful. Doug stopped by multiple times to check in. Location is perfect to experience Cody and Yellowstone easily. Spacious house in a beautiful location.

This ranch house far exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do this property and it’s views justice. It was absolutely breathtaking and had more than enough room for our family of 8 (4 adult couples). It is the perfect location between Yellowstone and Cody while still being secluded which is exactly what we wanted. Yvonne and Doug are awesome hosts with great advice and recommendations to make the most of your stay. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Our hosts made us feel like this was our home. They met with us to outline where we could go on the property and also suggested places to go. We found this was a great place to stay so we could get an early start on going into Yellowstone. There was plenty of room ---- and so very peaceful. It was great to be able to sit on the deck to have coffee and watch the sun come over the mountains. Doug and Yvonne made it known that they were just minutes away in case we needed anything. They deserve special thanks!

We came to Cody for a week to visit Yellowstone and check out Cody. We had a great time. The property is located on a good location to make both Yellowstone and Cody reasonable drives. The property has a nice setting and great views.

The Ranch house was very comfortably appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Doug and Yvonne were very easy to work with and exceptionally friendly. Doug was around every day if we had any questions (which we did not because all was great!). Loved the view from the front porch! Would recommend this home to anyone traveling to the Cody/Yellowstone area.

Perfect Yellowstone and Cody vacation!!
By far the most beautiful property I’ve stayed on! The house was roomy with 5 bedrooms and a wonderful porch/deck that overlooked the gorgeous foothills! Hiked right on the property. Went to Yellowstone twice. We enjoyed Cody- only 30 minutes drive! The Keppelmans are fabulous hosts. Highest star ratings!!

We loved our stay!
Checkin was easy and so was check out. They made adjustments for us and were very helpful and understanding. Their cabins were clean. Very polite hosts.

Great Space
Located close to Cody and Yellowstone. Beautiful space away from being to close to anyone. Stairs are little iffy on the porch especially for my elderly father. Kitchen is located upstairs the inside stairs are a bit better. Plenty of space and amazing views.

Wapiti Valley Ranch
Doug and Yvonne are a giving, generous, and thoughtful couple. Excellent communication and very helpful. The house was beautiful and immaculately clean. We were blessed to have found this place. We highly recommend Wapiti Valley Ranch. It is centrally located with stunning views in every direction! We can’t wait to visit again!

Slice of Heaven
This is a wonderful place to relax with your family and be within driving distance of Yellowstone (30-40 mins) and Cody (20 mins). The owners are top notch and were available if we needed anything. The incredible "360 degree view" of Wapiti Valley never got old.

Very attentive
Hosts were extremely attentive and very kind. House was exactly as pictured!!! Wires were crossed at our stay but host was very quick to resolve issues that were to no fault of their own!! Complete misunderstanding on my part! Beautiful property!!!

Gateway to Yellowstone
Beautiful setting halfway between Cody and east gate to Yellowstone. The property was clean and accommodating. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful. We had a great time!

Pretty View - Nice Owners
We enjoyed our stay. The property was a bit dated with low quality beds, but it was clean and the owners were nice. Very pretty views. It is about 30 miles to the Yellowstone east entrance, and the east entrance is about 30 miles from the actual grand loop in Yellowstone so it was a bit farther away than we had hoped to get into the heart of Yellowstone. Not a lot of restaurant or no real grocery options nearby (Cody is about 25 miles away). The one restaurant we found and liked is the Yellowstone Cutthroat Guest Ranch only a couple miles away but hard to find (no real signage). Steak was terrible but everything else was great.

Awesome!
We had a wonderful stay at this ranch with our kids and grandkids (10 total) ages 2 months to 55 yrs. There was plenty of room with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The property is on beautiful land with amazing views. Yvonne and Doug had wonderful sight seeing suggestions and activity tips. We ventured to Yellowstone a couple days, rode on nearby trail rides, went to the rodeo in Cody as well as the Buffalo Bills Center of the West Museum. All highly recommend! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Close to Cody and Yellowstone
The property was clean and comfortable. Yvonne and Doug were great hosts. We were disappointed that there was no grilling allowed due to fire danger. The ranch was convenient to Cody and the east entrance to Yellowstone.

Amazing Property With Amazing Host!
Our group of 6 absolutely loved staying at the ranch! The house was perfect and both Yvonne and Doug were wonderful hosts. If this property is available next time we come out we certainly would stay here again! The location relative to Yellowstone and the views made this stay absolutely perfect!

Excellent location between Yellowstone and Cody
Homeowners were kind and available as often/little as needed. Plenty of space for our group of 4 adults, 2 kids. The property is a tad dated but has a wonderful history, and is VERY clean, with everything we required for cooking. The TV is located downstairs, and only plays DVD’s, so for early nights, we rented them at Walmart and watched down there. If you’re looking to stay outside of Yellowstone, and want to visit Cody, this an excellent location.
One note re: children : we brought a baby gate for our 1 yr old, and had no problem with the stairs otherwise. There is a door at the top of the stairs, and we just left it closed, and used the gate on the hallway.

Awesome view!
Our stay was amazing.
About 30 minutes from Yellowstone entrance and 20 minutes from Cody.
If you want to get away from technology and enjoy yourself and family with an awesome view, this is the place you want.
I said that because cell phone coverage is terrible and the house internet is not the best. For my family and I it was fine, we had a great time.

Quite and peaceful
Doug and Yvonne were great host, we enjoyed meeting them and talking with them. The cabin has amazing views and the location is great. We truly enjoyed our stay there and strongly recommend it to anyone.

With beautiful views in a clean, well maintained home it was difficult to decide between seeing Yellowstone, touring Cody or just enjoying a view off of the porch.

Rustic Dwelling near Yellowstone
A very nice accomodation. Owner was very nice and helpful (let us borrow his bear spray). Great house for a large group. Some beds were not super comfortable and a couple of the kitchen knives could be sharpened. Other than that, we were happy and content.

Beautiful Location
Big thanks to Yvonne & Doug for sharing their home with us in September. The location is amazing and fairly close to the Yellowstone Park entrance on the west side and Cody on the east side. Yvonne came by and gave us great advice regarding touring the parks. It made our visit trouble-free and a lot of fun! The place was comfortable and mountain views sorrounded us! The place was immaculate and comfortable. Thanks, Yvonne!

Great property for location/views/accommodations
This was an amazing property for two families to use (party of 10 from Nebraska and Texas). Plenty of space and beds. The views from the property are amazing. Yvonne and Doug were excellent to work with and very informative and welcoming. I would recommend this property for its location to Yellowstone’s east entrance and Cody, WY.
