The location and view from the balcony and windows was amazing. The rooms offered historical preservation of the castle yet comfortable accommodation.

The shower was a bit awkward in one of the rooms which is understood based on the ancient structure.

Staying in Monemvasia, on the side of a large rock, is such a treat. I will never forget the one night we spent in Monemvasia - this place is a photographers dream! As far as the hotel room- I felt like I had stepped into another century and the room had a rustic charm. The woman at the front desk and the gentleman who helped us with the luggage were very pleasant and helpful.

The air conditioner was not working very well in the room (note that I am not one who likes it exceptionally cold ) but it really was too warm.

Breakfast was very good and our room's location was excellent.

Wonderful location, great atmosphere. Close to the gate so we did not have to walk far with our suitcases. We were able to leave them at the reception and got to check in early after hiking to the Upper Town.

fantastic location, beautiful room, breathtaking view, one of the best breakfast I have ever had in Greece. Ideal for couples and for those looking for authentic experiences. Monemvasia was amazing and so was the hotel.

Literally nothing. It was all great.

Such fun to stay within the walls of the castle. We had a huge room with a sleeping loft and kitchenette, dining area and big living room as well as private terrace. Room was beautifully restored. Lots of fun following Hercules down the winding maze of streets to our room. I slept like a baby - so quiet. Enjoyed a early morning hike up to the very top - the view is worth it. Breakfast was extensive with great variety.

Not the hotel's fault but the water is salty.

We enjoyed staying in the unque setting of the Castle of Monemvasia. The setting engaged converstaions of midevil times in history and knighthood with our boys. We liked expolring the castle, hiking to the top, many scenic views, enjoyed many shops and restaurants, went to the lighthouse, found all the churches and swam in the sea.

The only thing that could have been better would be to have a family suite or two rooms closer together.

Live like our distant ancestors- walk in their streets, catch their seaside views, eat their tasty fish, and look at the same moon.

It was HOT- Though not the property’s fault. Free parking! Gotta love that.

You can't reach the hotel by car. It is in the historic city closed for traffic. There are buses and help with luggage but no Information about it is provided.

If not the The, one of the best value for price accommodation of our entire greek holidays. We had the chance to have the room with a balcony; which I highly recommend as the view is breathtaking. And being able to sit on the balcony and admire the view is an experience on its own. Very spacious and comfortable room overall. The breakfast was also delicious and generous. The location is great. I rarely give a 10 but here I can't think of anything to be improved.

The pension has the perfect location to explore the city. The room was very spacious. We especially enjoyed the breakfast with greek yogurt, bread and coffee which was served in a cafe nearby. The welcome was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for more.

I loved the location. The room was clean and tidy, although the bathroom was visibly old and leaking and should be replaced soon. The staff were amazing, and their breakfast had a great variety of local and international delicacies.

The bathroom was in need of refurbishment. A place to hang our swimming suits and towels would be nice as well.
