The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very unhappy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

This rental home was very nicely decorated, clean and spacious. However both rugs in the living room and master bedroom need to be cleaned. Also, the one taller lamp in the living room had a broken switch so we could not use it. Unfortunately we would not rent this house again because of the terrible location. The neighboring dogs, at least three, barked a lot and even more when the loud motorcycle came and went. Some renters may not mind but if we had known ahead, we would not have rented it. The neighborhood is not the best.

House is clean and comfortable. Matches listing description. Oxnard is seldom very hot, so the place stayed nice and cool even without A/C in the middle of July. My only suggestion for improvement is that the kitchen supplies (utensils, spatulas, etc) need to be checked closer by the cleaning crew. They weren't very clean for us. But still 5 stars for the property and stay.

The inside of the property was nice and clean, but several of the lamps were broken, the fireplace didn’t work, and the lever for the sink drain in the master bathroom was broken. Outside, the jacuzzi cover was broken and there was chunks of styrofoam in the jacuzzi from the broken cover. It was also just pretty dirty. On the photos, it shows there being a fire pit feature on a table in the patio, which was not there at all. It was just a standard table. Also, at night we saw probably about a dozen black widow spiders along the outside of the house and under the patio chairs. We reached out to management about it who said they’d try to get pest control out there, but it never happened during our stay. Would be a great property with better maintenance, but was definitely not happy with the various issues. There was only half a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom when we got there also. Luckily, management did drop a basket off of extra supplies after we told them about that. Hopefully these issues are fixed in the future.

We rented this beach house to celebrate by wife's birthday, and couldn't have been happier! The place was in perfect condition, and a very short walk to the beach. It has a top-notch jacuzzi as well. I highly recommend it! The lease agreement was a little scary, but the staff was very nice, and everything worked out perfectly!

Management was super easy to work with! All of the guys hope to come back next year. Some even want to bring their families on a personal trip. This home will not disappoint!

We found that the Jacuzzi had not been drained and cleaned as promised, cover had black widow when lifted disintegrating cover, filter & broken jet parts on bottom, foul water, dead bugs, scum on seats, headrests missing & disintegrating, several jets not working, heater broken, sand. Patio furniture dirty, Fireplace did not work for two days of five day stay, kitchen inadequate, old pots do not have lids, cheap dishware, cracked plastic cups, five forks, refrigerator never got cold, queen bed hard as a rock heat register blasted, king bedroom cold. BBQ grill full of bottom grease flames ruined our expensive steaks. I am furious we had to constantly call for repairs and the owner & REmax are negligent of their responsibilities and obligations. We want a Refund!!

Ideal location, lovely house
This was just perfect for the six of us (myself, husband, son, d-i-l and 2 grandsons 4 & 20 months). The big kitchen is well-stocked, but could have had more forks. Maybe the previous renter accidentally took and it wasn't noticed.
The home has a nice layout and and everything seemed new and well cared for. The towels were luxe and plentiful, which was appreciated. It's just a short walk to the beach, which was totally uncrowded. So relaxing and was the perfect place to decompress. Close to grocery shopping and restaurants if you wish. We had some really good sushi at Anaba. The only negative, which had nothing to do with the house, were the next door neighbor's (there were at least three) dogs. As soon as we arrived around 4:30pm, they began barking on and off and didn't stop til midnight. The owners showed up at some point and would yell at them to be quiet, not pleasant. They continued barking throughout the our stay, though not to the same degree. Since I didn't consider it an emergency, I didn't call it in, but it sure was annoying and definitely not relaxing.. We had to close the windows on that side of the house. I did leave a voice-mail message with the property management company after our stay to address this issue, but they never returned my call.

Large Comfy Home with a Huge Jacuzzi!
Beautifully decorated home with comfy beds and a huge jacuzzi in the back yard. This house is a easy short half block walk to the beach. It was also only a 10 minute drive to the base where our son is stationed. Due to Covid, we had all our meals at the house. The bbq worked great. We did order Toppers Pizza delivered which was great. The management team was very responsive to questions before and after our stay. I'm sure the large TV's and the fireplace would be nice on a cold day but we had such great weather we spent all our time by the fire pit in the back yard, in the jacuzzi, at the beach or playing cards at the dining table.

Bathroom issue got unplugged by a professional and it got plugged a second time we would have stayed 2 weeks more but we decided to rent another home because of this issue and dishwasher needs help also!!!

A wonderful getaway
We truly enjoyed our getaway in Oxnard at this property. The location was a short walk to the beach where we watched many stunning sunsets. The jacuzzi was a wonderful way to unwind. I would definitely recommend this property.

Pleasant Stay!
In spite of the density of homes here, this is a very quiet location. Access to the beach, restaurants, and other activities is very convenient, and you really can't leave without visiting McConnell's Ice Cream. The hot tub made the evenings, and providing towels, etc...for the beach was spot on. Great kitchen if you plan to cook much.

A Much Needed Weekend With Friends
3 couples wanted some time away. This property was perfect. It was well-described, pictures were accurate, and property very clean. Property manager very responsive and the reservation, check-in, and check-out process contactless and efficient. Lots of little extras, such as books, games and videos available, plenty of towels, beach toys, and basics such as shampoo, conditioner, oil, salt and pepper -- too many to remember them all! Really enjoyed the property and the location - beautiful beaches for nice, long walks.
