Standard breakfast, room is modern, with excellent decor, minimal carpets, very clean. Location is a little out of downtown, however there is a trolley along the seawall that goes to Moody Gardens or downtown. Grocery stores such as Kroger or Walmart's are within 10 minutes walk, allowing one to buy food for a supper to be had in the room. There is a coffee machine, fridge, and microwave.

I didn't like how I only had the weekend there. I wish my whole experience was a little longer.

Location. It was very clean

The bed was HORRIBLE! The bathroom faucet was barely hanging on and the toilet hit the wall every time you sat down. The TV had a black line down it so watching anything was bad! Smelled very musty as well.

Great, love the scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, and everything else.

There is no street sign or any type of information that lets you know of your location. The towels were stained.

The breakfast was ok.

The hotel smelled like cigarette, beds made noises, rooms smelled disgusting.

The address is deceptive-Seawall Blvd, but no view at all. The drive to the hotel was extremely difficult to find. No signage No one at the desk at check in- we were so disappointed, we did not stay there. Went in the next morning, after staying at another hotel, to check out since I had checked in-again, no one at the desk- both times I had to search for help. The man at check in was rude. I wish I could have known and not checked in and perhaps gotten a refund. I normally am fine with LaQuinta

Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast. We slept in every morning we were there.

The first room that they put me in was on the 5th floor and as you exited onto the floor it had a bad smell. We went into room 521 and after going into the bathroom we located black mold on the ceiling which we took pics of and showed front desk. I told the front desk, and he moved me into a cleaner room. I think they need to do a better job with the cleaning.

Although not much variety, it was nice to have a quick bite in house.

As soon as we walked in, we were hit with a wet mop smell. The attendant was not very personable. He did his job but was not very welcoming. Least he could do is smile. The room only had 2 towels & a half roll of TP even though I specified 4 guests. We walked downstairs & spoke to the attendant who gave us extra towels & TP but he didn’t even bother giving us any eye contact. The room was muggy. The floor under the AC unit was wet & the floors still had the previous guests Cheetos, hair, grass, etc. I disinfected what I could before setting things down. AC thermostat stopped working so we got dressed in a hot muggy room. After 4 people using the shower without ventilation, it was suffocatingly hot that we had to open the room door to circulate cool air. Location is okay but didn’t feel safe walking to the beach from there. Area looks a little dodgy. I would not stay here again.

staff needs to smile more , acknowledge guests when they come in hard to locate while driving , hidden and unable to get to. drive, maybe tell people to look for a landmark line Golden Corral , to turn into free parking yay! no ice on my floor , had to go to a different floor to get ice

It was quiet. No wild activities going on. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The location is hard to find it would be nice if there was a sign turn here for the entrance to LaQuinta on the main beach road...

This hotel is a popular stay for cruisers. It was nice to hang out with people that we would spend the week with on the cruise. It also seemed safe.

No one was at the front desk when I arrived. There was a line of people, but no person to help us. When he did show up, he was not a pleasant, polite person.

Breakfast was nice, place is clean , conveniently located near the beach!

Customer service was horrible, made us feel unwelcome, top floor out of service with electrical problems. Air conditioner in all 3 rooms we were moved to,did not adjust to comfortable settings.

The beds were very comfortable and nice clean room and good breakfast.
