The farm animals around us, rural location

Hard to find location. Signpost to farm cabin was on the floor so took an hour of searching for cabin in the rain, the shower basin flooded when having a quick shower, despite the window being firmly shut, there was rainwater pouring in from underneath (the rug got soaked and I had to catch the water pouring down the internal walls with towels and baking trays) (I was concerned about water getting into the electrics), 7 hour long excruciating chainsaw sounds from the adjacent farm, dead flies and fly faeces everywhere, hot tub malfunctions, too many chemicals in hot tub water resulting in chemical burns, massive spiders in every room, broken fan, faulty electrics (frayed wires, loose sockets), broken garden furniture, pubic hair on garden cushions, poor lighting inside cabin, struggle using the keys to secure the cabin at night (lack of instructions), no privacy curtains or blinds on backdoor windows, mold on wooden internal wall panels, cabin uncomfortably hot despite turning it right down, unable to open most windows. The windows that did open had no latches so they would just swing in the wind. The doors also had no safety catches to stop them swinging open and closed. Dangerous for smaller children. Overpriced accommodation. Overall a serious fire, health and electrical safety hazard!

The cabin is beautiful and the serenity of being in the countryside looking at the cows and sheep was so restful. Enjoyed the hot tub immensely and arriving to a bottle of Proseco was so thoughtful. It is only 10 minutes to Aundel where one of our favourite restaurants THAI TIME is located and just 20 minutes to Petworth. Great location. We plan to be back anytime we are in the area.

Such a lovely stay! Great location, well equipped, so peaceful! Definitely the best ever break we have had in the UK. The hot tub was brilliant, my son and daughter loved listening to their songs on the built in speakers.The Prosecco was a great surprise! Thank you so much Jack for a great stay in your lodge. we will be back!

Perhaps another set of towels for the hot tub use.

Absolutely stunning lodge with beautiful views. Everything about the lodge was 5 stars. The kitchen was clean, modern with very comfortable stalls around the huge centre island, everything you need from cutlery, crockery and ovenware was there. The seating area has a comfortable settee with a big screen tv, a pc desk with free WiFi, the flooring was lovely. The bedrooms were roomy with enough hanging space and plenty of coat hangers, there was a chest of drawers and a full length huge floor standing mirror in one of the bedrooms and mirrored wardrobe doors in the other, because of the hot weather we took our own fans but there was a tower fan in the bedroom we stayed in and a big stand fan in the other room. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board all there too. Shower was powerful and never ran out of hot water, there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer at the back end of the bathroom. The icing on the cake was the hot tub, that was brilliant and the seating area in the secluded back garden was a lovely touch. The owners photos are exactly what you walk into. (Accurate and no stretched images) The furniture and cabinets are not furniture packs you get for some 'Let's' the owners really went out of their way to make it comfortable and just like home. The bed was so comfortable (no cheap mattress here) we didn't use the other bedroom as there were only two of us but the bed felt comfortable too. I just cannot speak highly enough of the lodge. We will definitely be coming back. We went to the Black Swan for my other half 60th Birthday meal, the views were stunning, food great. There were quite a few recommendations of where to eat in the visitors book.

The lodge was absolutely beautiful. Very modern & beds very comfy. We all absolutely loved the hot tub! Location was beautiful & we all loved the little lambs! We will definitely be returning, highly recommend

Location and setting were lovely. Bed was comfy and kitchen very well equipped. Immersed in nature, lots of birds and fields of sheep/lambs which was lovely to c and hear. The sheep do wake u up though as they r loud but didn’t bother us at all. Huge tv with access to Netflix’s, home from home. Lovely fresh bedding and towels.

Arrived at property and hot tub being cleaned, wasn’t a problem we waited for the man to leave… which was about 45 mins. Then he told us the hot tub won’t b ready until the next morning. We were very disappointed as it was our first nite and we planned to use the hot tub. Second nite, planned a bbq only to c the gas bottom was low/empty, didn’t even try as didn’t seem worth it.

Lovely lodge set in farm grounds. Great base for visiting Littlehampton, Bognor etc. Excellent facilities with the hot tub as the added bonus! I came with everything I thought we'd need including bin bags, kitchen towel and toilet roll but nothing was needed as it was all there for us. Very well equipped and good quality.

Lots of spiders/flies/bugs (completely understand it goes with the territory) but the kids didn't like this. Window blinds were a little troublesome as they weren't able to be kept up unless the windows were closed (handle to the window would act as the place to hold it). Was worried about having the window open at the same time as didn't want the blind to get damaged. Maybe there could be some hooks either side of the frame to hold the blind which would then enable the window to be open.

everything! the location was so peaceful, just what we needed, away from busy life. it was literally home from home. our little boy loved the hot tub! we don’t want to leave.

The log cabin was cozy, spacious, very well equipped, in a peaceful location, with the added bonus of a hot tub ready to use and a bottle of prosecco on our arrival!

The cabin was very welcoming, with wine and all the essentials. The cabin was clean and warm, the hot tub was very relaxing. Everything we needed from Netflix to quaint nature views was there for a relaxing break.

Could not reach the hosts via the contact number provided when needed a bit of assistance with hot tub. The number is stated as invalid when called.

Very clean and very comfortable. Host was very welcoming. Great facilities.

We liked the hot tub

Very clean. Nice welcome pack. Comfy beds. Two TVs with internet channels and a comfy sofa. Great all round.

Very well presented and comfortable beds with good quality sheets. Comfortable sofa and large breakfast bar- bigger than it seems in the photos! Owners left a complimentary bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise. Overall great and we didn’t want to leave.
