as well equiped as home, plus the pool and an incredible view ! the owners are very generous, you find all you need in the house and they welcomed us with a great breakfast and local specialties !

The villa was superb, very clean and the view was incredible. The pool and BBQ were also fantastic. The AC is only in the lower bedroom however it wasn't too much of an issue as there is a decent breeze in the villa with the windows open.

Very beautiful and cozy house, absolutely clean and tidy. Contains everything you need, e.g. snorkeling gear, fully equipped kitchen, Outdoor BBQ etc. Living room is very cozy in case of bad weather and has a fireplace. Very nice sun terrace with sunbeds and a beautiful pool in a garden. The view over Ribeira Brava, mountains and the ocean is absolutely incredible! Last but not least: the owners were extremely nice and helpful, totally recommend this place!

Nothing really bad. It would be useful to know that you def need a car (or hire a taxi each time) to get to shops or restaurants (Ribeira Brava or Ponta do Sol) - it is possible by foot, but easily a 1hour walk (one-way).

Amazing views, big house, good value for money.

- The views from the villa were amazing. - Villa itself was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. - There was also a bbq which we made use of a lot, bought groceries from the nearby shops and made food in the villa. - Nearby (5min drive) shops/restaurants with everything we needed. - I recommend doing the PR1 hike (although I think we got a bit lucky with the weather), it is approx 30-40min drive from the property. If you are driving keep in mind this will take you all day as it is a one way hike (so you'll likely take 3hrs there and 3hrs back). We got a taxi to the start and another taxi back from the finishing point (the drive back is slightly longer at approx 1hr)

- Not a great location if you are not able to drive or get a taxi. Yellow taxis on the island scam for money, I recommend getting the app Bolt, for reference the yellow taxi from the airport was €65 with the equivalent Bolt price of €32. Overall wasn't a big issue for us as we made friends with a Bolt drivers who was happy to pick us up any time there weren't any other drivers available as well as in remote places (as we went hiking a number of times). Even cheaper would be to rent a car yourself.

Beautiful villa Beautiful pool Beautiful location BUT

There is a house being built literally next door (same owners I think) and this meant that the photo showing the hammock with the view behind is now actually a villa wall under construction. The downstairs bedroom meant that the curtains had to be partially kept closed to avoid the builders peering in - they started work between 8 and 8.30 in the morning except Sunday. Some days the noise wasn't particularly noticeable but the last 2 days (with the scaffolding being moved and metal rods being sawn) made sitting in the villa or on the front terrace impossible. I gather the work has been going on for a couple of years so it would have been easy to have mentioned this in the advertisement and the photos updated accordingly. It is such a lovely spot but a shame the new villa had to be built within 2 metres of this one! Nuno was very kind and friendly.
