Lovely and warm in the cold weather! Very cosy and well supplied with what we would need, even thoughtful supplies for our canine - really appreciated this. A nice, quiet location too. Lovely lady owner.

The broken gate post was a little hazardous in the dark. I'm sure it will be repaired soon!

Great location within short walking distance to town centre and beaches. Good communication with owner. Free on site parking. Lovely little touches within property. Despite the size, everything you need provided, in good working order and spotless. Lovely character property. Only wish the weather was good enough during our stay to enjoy the courtyard and outdoor seating. This is a small property but this is explained fully in the description. Would recommend.

This is an apartment designed for self catering. However, we did not want to eat at the apartment, but ate out at the pubs and restaurants in the town. That's what we like to do, and you are so handy for the facilities in the town.

There is not a thing that I didn’t like it was all brilliant

Cosy wash house that had everything we needed. Appreciated the extras like toiletries, dog bed and bowls, which were a big help when travelling by train. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. The lovely gated courtyard meant my doggo could roam freely. By evening, i could even continue watching our favourite series on the streaming service, and the throws, cushions and fairy lights made for a cosy time. We had a warm and friendly welcome from the host, Lyz . The wash house was easy to find from the station thanks to clear directions. I was travelling solo with my dog for the first time and felt safe and secure, especially knowing I hsd the lovely host on hand. We loved the location, a 15-minute walk to beautiful and dog-friendly Barkby beach. The town was also close, about 10 minutes on foot. All in all, a real gem of a place.

Host Lyz , and family are really friendly, lovely greet on arrival, property is immaculate, located close to beach and retail park, and beautiful little village of shops , cafes , so enjoyable for myself and pooch , ⭐️ weather was a bonus .
