Everything worked! This is the first time in India that I have been able to say that. A proper business hotel with extreme attention to detail. Fantastic staff. Clean! Underpriced. Comfortable.

Breakfast was great. The restaurant has a nice menu and good chef.
Cleanliness needs to be taken care of seriously. You will get a 5 star from customers.

A really well run small 4 star hotel with convenient location for airport (15 min taxi) station (under 10 mins walk) with trains to Alleppey for a day trip, and bus station (many buses to Munnar in 4 hours)
Clean, spacious room with all modern facilities including fridge and kettle.
The most comfortable bed I slept in on India, and shower was up there too (separated with a screen from the bathroom which is appreciated here!)
Friendly efficient staff who spoke good English
Generous breakfast buffet of local dishes
Few healthy western options at breakfast e.g oats/porridge/musli, curd/yoghurt, pancakes - only cornflakes
Not much else in Aluva, but I knew this, and was looking for an in between point to ease travel within Kerala. This was perfect when Kochi Airport is far from centre and I flew in late at night
