We had 3 families share this awesome house. Plenty of room and great location!

We loved the home. Would stay again. Great space, fun retro cool furniture. Beds comfortable. We are were able to get our boat around from the Yacht Basin. Pier fishing was great at night. Couldn't say enough. Great home. Thank you.

The property was great for my father's 80th birthday. The house is well decorated and spacious. The beds were very comfortable which I appreciate! We played yard games, hung out in the water, BBQ'd on the back patio and played lots of ping pong! I have already recommended the property to other family memebers!

Great space for 80 year old parents and adult children!

The house is spacious and beautiful. It is surrounded with covered patio and deck and had great outdoor furniture. Fun dock for the SUP and kayak. We gathered with our entire family and loved our time at the house.

This property provided the perfect weekend getaway for our multigenerational family. The photos and description are quite accurate. Upon arriving, it was very clean and at the perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable. The entire place was spacious for our group of 14, and the simplistic, modern decor was a welcomed change from the typical nautical/seashell decor of most Galveston rentals. The place is fully stocked with gear for activities for the whole family: kayak, paddle boards, bicycles, fishing gear, life vests, beach chairs and toys. The kids had a blast fishing on the private pier, playing ping pong and playing kickball in the side yard which has an awesome artificial turf. Bonus was the front row fireworks display we got from Moody Gardens on Saturday night . The only minor negatives were: there were no large sized frying pans (just a couple of small ones) which made cooking for a large group a little difficult; there were no scissors or kitchen shears (only a really old rusted pair); and communication was lacking- after booking the property and writing an introduction message to the property manager/owner, I never received any kind of message back as I usually do when booking properties. Then on the day of check-in, which is stated to be at 4pm, I still had no notification of how to access the property. I finally sent a message via VRBO at 3:30pm which got no response by the 4pm check-in time. I finally located a phone # of the property manager/owner and left a voicemail just after 5pm. I never got a call back, but I finally got a message via VRBO about 5:30pm with the instructions on how to access the property. Thankfully we weren’t standing at the door at 4pm with no way to get in, but had we been, this would have been all the more frustrating; I’ve never had to reach out to the property manager/owner the day of/post check-in time to gain access to a fully paid rental. Nonetheless, I still would recommend this property for all that it has to offer.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the water toys that were available! Beautiful place to vacation!

My family rented this house to be together with my parents to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary! The house was perfect! 14 adults and 2 toddlers and we absolutely loved everything about this property! It is everything it claims to be and more! Highly recommend staying here!!

The home is beautiful, and well appointed. The layout is great and was perfect for our multi generational trip. However, once there we encounter two problems, one small and one major. There are no instruction for things like how to get the TVs and ice maker to work. These were small problems and could have easily been resolved. The big problem was there were roaches in the kitchen and upstairs living room. They we pretty bad in the kitchen. The biggest problem was that after calling twice and messaging the host twice, there was no response, no return phone call and message response. The TV and ice maker issue could have been handle with a call or message with instructions and the roach issue could have been handle while we were out. If those issues are taken care of and the communication improve, I would stay at Cove House again.

We rented this property for a family vacation and it was perfect! The pictures online were very accurate. There was plenty of space for all 17 of us without ever feeling crowded. The outside space was just as amazing. My boys spent the majority of their time on the pier fishing and we all spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor space. The property was very clean and well stocked. Would definitely choose this property again!

This was our second time staying here and we would choose it again! Perfect location, spacious home, beautiful setting and plenty of everything that we needed.

PROS: Very nice an well maintained property in a very convenient neighborhood. We were close store activities, grocery stores and easy directions for family to get to. Plenty of dish ware and cooking items to cook on a daily basis. We also made use of the kayak, ping pong table and games. My family loved the fishing! This was a top priority for them and it didn't fail. We were all able to hang out in the same location, while fishing, while playing, while eating...worked out perfectly! Neighbors were also super nice from what I can see. CONS (more like minor inconveniences): The ROKU downstairs did not work so had to use my phone to cast the games we were watching. Not enough parking and it rained so the extra parking down the street was flooded and muddy. Flies...beware of them. Bring something to control them. Grill was dirty. Overall great stay. We've been doing this family trip for 9 years now and this is probably the best house we've stayed in.

We enjoyed our stay! The property had lots of options for kids all ages and the view was great. Definitely recommend this place.

This house was just as listed, with an added bonus of beautiful interesting artwork on the walls. It was exceptionally clean and well formatted for our family of six adults and two children. This house would also have accommodated another family of four, who unfortunately couldn’t be with us. I didn’t realize that the bottom level actually has two queen bunkbeds that could sleep eight if needed. We fished off the dock, ate dinner every night on the outside dining deck and the ping pong players had fun. We really enjoyed the very large tv in the main living area. So many rentals have smaller TVs and this was a huge tv- very nice. Lots of seating in the living area was great. We liked that there was an ice maker and extra freezer for drinks,etc. About the only negative I could mention was that the kitchen might have more serving bowls or at least another larger salad bowl. It did have a generous amount of glassware , dishes and silverware. My entire family liked the quiet “tucked away” feeling of this location. After a very hot day doing island activities we enjoyed coming back to a cool quiet retreat where we could spread out and relax. This is a great multi family rental or a fabulous place for several couples to rent. Also, it has a great library of books that I so wished I could take advantage of! Maybe next time! Highly recommended!

We finally found the perfect size place for our family! 4 families of all ages! So much space for everyone to spread out and a great location!

I have never in my life seen my step dad as happy as he was when he walked in the house. We hadn't even finished unpacking the car when he picked up a ping pong paddle and asked who wanted to play. My niece stayed up late fishing with her NoiNoi. There was enough room and space to accommodate our entire family with plenty of room leftover. Never felt claustrophobic once

We take a family vacation to Galveston every year to kick off the summer. This house was the best house we’ve stayed in so far. Plenty of room for 10 adults and 8 kids. The kitchen was open and had plenty of space for us to have meals together and fellowship. The dock was great for fishing , which all the husbands love to do. The house isn’t for from anything. Great location. We definitely plan on coming back to this house next year abs staying longer.
