We had a great stay. Myself, Husband and 4 year old really enjoyed the space. Has all the amenities you could need and there was complimentary snacks. Perfect location, walking distance to the Boardwalk or a few shops , cafe and corner store. Great communication and check in / check outs. I have nothing but positive things to say.

We really enjoyed our stay at Susan's place, which was our last stop on a long California road trip. The apartment was very bright, fresh and modern, with lots of thoughtful touches such as snacks, plenty of towels and a bottle of wine. We also really appreciated the warm welcome from Susan's family members. The place is located very close to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, and within easy walking distance of several beaches. Highly recommended!

This beach bungalow is just immaculate, modern while still being cozy and charming, and perfectly situated! The owner is so gracious, and she has thought of every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I took my 16-year-old daughter and her 2 best friends for a Santa Cruz getaway. The kids divided their time equally between the beach and the Boardwalk, all within easy walking distance from the bungalow. They also ubered to downtown Santa Cruz for dining and shopping. I barely had to lift a finger! While the kids were out doing their thing, I read, slept, walked around the Seabright neighborhood, went down to the beach for a view, treated myself to lunch at the Seabright deli and dinner from Tramonti, and sipped wine back at the bungalow. A perfect getaway for mom and kids alike! We all had a wonderful mini-vacay!

This is a very cute, updated place with all the amenities including a parking spot. We walked to the beach and/or the Boardwalk every day, they’re both so close. You can also walk to some fun restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was as expected and more! Every detail was taken care of. We had a perfect and super comfortable stay. Would totally come again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. It was so close to everything. It was the perfect size for our family of four. Every bed was so comfortable and the place was immaculate. We cooked each night and the kitchen was stocked. Even the knives were sharp! So many things were were well thought out and very appreciated. Susan, our host was very communicative and helpful in so many ways. We look forward to staying here again!

This was the perfect place for a vacation with my husband and 5 year old son. We were able to walk to 2 beaches and the boardwalk. There are so many other attractions close by as well (a short drive). The place was stocked with toys, books, 2 smart TV’s, beach toys, and plenty of kitchen and bathroom amenities to make our stay super relaxing and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here on our next Santa Cruz visit!!

We had a wonderful time staying in this cozy apartment. Walking distance to the beach and boardwalk, short drive to downtown, lots of beautiful scenery. Everything we needed was either in the apartment or very close by. We're already talking about the next trip back and we'd happily stay here again!

Susan was friendly and helpful. The house is stocked with board games, parking permit, streaming services, extra linens, condiments, and even a welcome package of food and wine. Susan is an experienced host and it shows. I couldn't recommend her place enough.

From the moment we opened the door, we were oohing and awing as we walked around taking in all the welcoming touches in this peaceful and charming abode. The entire place was spotless. The remodel and upgrades were perfect. The bed, bedding and towels were heavenly. Loved catching the sunset inside the enclosed patio while enjoying wine or champagne and cheese and the changing colored light bulbs above us! What a quaint, quiet little neighborhood and amazing location within easy walks to to the beach, boardwalk, pier and the long walking trail. We walked everywhere and and covered over 20 miles in 4 days. Take it from us, this place has it all and it is the best! Thank you for your warm hospitality! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a great stay at Susan's place in Santa Cruz. The property was incredibly clean and had all of the amenities you could hope for. My two young children slept on the pull out couch and said it was very comfortable. The King bed in the bedroom was likewise fantastic. The location can't be beat - just a few minutes from the Boardwalk and East Cliff, and a little further to West Cliff. Susan was such a thoughtful host. Before we arrived she asked the ages of my kids, and stocked the house with toys and books for their age group. Many of the kids books felt like they were brand new for our visit (and some of our favorites)! Susan really went above and beyond. We visit Santa Cruz regularly and will absolutely be looking to stay here again. Thank you Susan!

This is the perfect place for those who want to explore Santa Cruz and want all the amenities of a home. We loved the outdoor patio with fire pit and the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

It is conveniently located, and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. All amenities are provided, and there were more personal touches than we expected. We were guided every step of the way. Upon arrival, laminated sheets were provided regarding instructions for lights, tv's, fans, appliance usage, check out procedures, etc. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Was here for four nights, first time to the area and did a lot of mountain biking and driving around. Neighborhood reminds me a lot of old orchard beach in Maine, so it felt very different and yet familiar at the same time No issues at all, and definitely recommend.

She even sent a message to check in while we were there. We had excellent communication throughout the rental process and check in and out was safe and easy. We would absolutely stay again. This cabin in is in the perfect place in Santa Cruz. So close to everything; the beach, Java Junction, Brady’s, Crows Nest & The Boardwalk! Beautiful cabin with porch.

The property was so cozy and welcoming. I felt at home. The communication with the host was great. The location was great. Trader Joe's, Costco and numerous restaurants were near by. The host left instructions that were clear and simple to follow. I was amazed at the numerous little details, amenities and time the host must have taken to make us comfortable. One big plus for our stay was the furniture, books and toys available for my infant grandchild. By far the best experience I have had. I wish all hosts had this type of hospitality. I prefer Upper Seabright to a resort. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for an amazing visit.

The location is perfect for beach fun and exploration of the coastline. The space is very open and comfortable and the neighborhood friendly but quiet. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches.

Susan's place is fantastic! Walking distance to the beach, super clean, charmingly decorated, comfortable furniture and bed, and all the thoughtful touches you can imagine. One of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in!

Such a clean and beautiful space. Looks like the space was recently renovated. All of the bells and whistles from soap and shampoo, to complimentary make-up wipes. There was even a basket of snacks on the kitchen counter. The mattresses are comfortable and there are plenty of blankets and pillows. We would stay at this property again, and again!

Very clean property and perfectly located close to everything. We were able to walk to the Boardwalk, as well as the shops/restaurants downtown (Pacific Ave area). Host was also very responsive. Would definitely return.

If I could give this listing six stars, I would! It is in the perfect location- walking distance to the beach, market and restaurants. It is super clean and recently renovated. It has everything you could imagine needing in a vacation home, from a blender to a pack-n-play. Susan even left snacks and a ton of toiletries for those "just in case" moments. The cottage really has so many amazing touches that helped make our stay very enjoyable.

This property was perfect from start to finish. Every detail was there and I truly couldn't have asked for me. Property manager was accessible. The property was spotless. All 3 beds were so comfortable. Cleanliness and sweet details were beyond. If you are looking for a property then stop here. We truly couldnt' have asked for more.

Great location. Thoughtful touches. Clean and well organized. There is a little noise from upstairs tenants. The neighborhood as a whole is very quiet. We’ll stay again!
