Such a cool little place. We had everything we needed and having the chickens roaming around was so cool, I loved being able to grab our eggs in the morning.

Eggs laid from chickens next to the property were beautiful and the chickens a lot of fun and friendly. It was very peaceful looking out to the vineyard and the cottage very well appointed with everything you could want. A beautiful bottle of Merlot there for sunset drinkies - loved it.

There was nothing we didn’t like

lovely sun filled, self contained little cottage. pretty outlook and had everything you need for a long weekend stay, even friendly chickens!

Beautiful setting House was very clean and fresh. Real milk in fridge not long life. Wine in fridge on arrival.

It was perfect couldnt fault it.

Really loved the vineyard location and close to wineries and Hawke's Bay towns and Te Mata peak. Very peaceful, private and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with fresh eggs from the chickens who came to say hello every day, also local honey, jam and coffee. Very good value for money for a vineyard stay.

Great location from which to explore the region. Private and almost feels like your own vineyard, complete with chickens. Cottage is nicely updated and has everything we needed, including good wine!

Remote control for tv did not work and had to ask for the wifi password as it wasn’t in the booklet

Perfect for two, this small 1 bedroom house is probably one of the best stays we have ever experienced. Spotless, modern, private (including own access)well equiped, warm and located overlooking a vineyard. We loved it.

Lovely private cottage in the working vineyard. Sheep, chooks and wildlife. The cottage was well equipped with everything for making meals. Amazing claw foot bath, underfloor and heat pump heating as well as electric blankets. Access to free range eggs along with breakfast provisions. Very well priced compared with nearby accommodation.

Minor details Include road noise in the morning, but very quiet during the day and evening (unavoidable) and a very firm mattress on the bed. Otherwise excellent.

Fantastic location Privacy & clean/warm Everything we needed

Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Lovely setting. Close enough to everything in town. Chickens were funny. BBQ was good. Shower was good and a spacious bathroom.

Furniture was quite old and not overly comfortable for a relaxing weekend away. Chickens were a bit noisy the second morning. Surprisingly could hear the road traffic a lot.
