Debra is a lovely host. The cottage is well maintained and very clean. The outdoor patio and shower is very nice too. The location is great too, less than a block to the beach. Excellent!

This property was just the perfect hideaway for my family. The location is perfect, with a five minute (max) walk to the beach and a fifteen minute walk into downtown. Every inch of the house is set up for entertaining and being together in a decent sized group. The back cottage felt like it's own getaway from the main house and the backyard is great for lounging, yoga, dinner, or just spending time together. We really loved our stay.

This house is just perfect. Location is great for kids and older adults, short walk to Boardwalk but close to quieter beaches. House has used the spaces very thoughtfully and has everything you need for a great vacation. Would stay here again and again. Loved it.

We stayed at The Pines in early May for a girls weekend. The property was perfect for our needs. The decor has tons of personality and charm. The kitchen was very well appointed making cooking a breeze. Our absolute favorite part of the house was the screened in porch. It is perfect for a larger group dinner or sitting to enjoy a glass of wine. It's an easy walk to the beach. The main town is a bit further but definitely walkable or a short drive. Debra was very helpful and accommodating. She provided tons of helpful recommendations that helped us get the most out of our trip. Highly recommend!

The house was wonderful. It was immaculate; everything in great condition. The check-in was very easy, and the house was even ready a bit early. The owner was very responsive, and great to deal with. The location was perfect for us - very close to the beach, and a short walk to the boardwalk as well.

The house is wonderful and so well maintained. The best feature is the lovely side porch that is so comfortable you could spend your entire day there. Great location, well appointed, lovely bedrooms and extremely clean. Couldn’t ask for a nicer cottage!!

We were blown away with our rental. Such a perfectly sized beach house, with a cottage for my parents. Easy walk to the beach. And it felt so private. Not to mention clean. Would (and will) book again.

The property is incredibly well maintained. It has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. The back house is spectacular. Debra Harvey is easy to communicate with and does a wonderful job of making sure you are comfortable.

We stayed in the cottage for a long wknd and it was absolutely wonderful! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and the screened in porch was just the best! We spent most of our time out there. The back patio area was also lovely. It’s close to the beach and the beach was much less crowded in the Pines area compared to the boardwalk area. We loved the quietness, but it was still close enough to walk to the boardwalk. My sister, BIL and 1yr old niece stayed in the smaller cottage outback and loved it. It was great that they had a separate space. Our family can’t wait to come back!

The Pines Cottage was just what the pictures show. The walk to the beach is very easy, even with a toddler! The kitchen is beautifully renovated, as is the guest house. I would not say this is a super friendly home for small/young children. There are lots of glass tables/decorations and the stairs to upstairs are very open on the sides which was a little nerve wracking for us. There is generally just a lot of seating/furniture in the house which seemed a little odd considering the strict rule that there are to be no gatherings or parties of any kind in the house. Debra was very communicative and offered us an early check in on our arrival day. We weren’t able to meet her directly, but we didn’t have any issues using the property. Some things that weren’t so great for our group - The guest house must have been recently painted and the smell was far too strong for anyone to sleep out there. It is a really nice space, but also didn’t have heat on the rainy weekend we were there. It would have been great to have a heads up to know this space wasn’t really available. The house rules that were emailed to us and then another set that was provided at the house was a little jarring. I am assuming the rules were meant for younger groups who may be planning to party more instead of our family friendly group, but it was a little hard to relax knowing there was the threat of a $50 fine for scratching the floor, moving the furniture, or spilling a drink. There was also a LOT of emphasis on leaving the property exactly as it was when we arrived, including remaking all the beds, doing dishes and putting them away in exactly the same spot, doing laundry, etc. Again, this made it a little difficult to really relax. After all, I’m on vacation so that I don’t have to do these chores! Overall, great space and fantastic location but I recommend reaching out for a comprehensive copy of the house rules before booking!

Super clean, beautifully appointed set of cottages on the north side of Rehoboth within easy walking distance to the boardwalk, beach, restaurants and shops. Thanks Debra, for creating such a lovely relaxing environment. My son and I really enjoyed every minute of our stay!

A group of us stayed here to celebrate a birthday. 6 adults and one crawling baby. Debra was a wonderful host and offered us tours of her neighboring property and guest house that was under going renovations. Debra was excellent with her communication, and easy to get a hold of. I loved the design details in the well-appointed kitchen. We did a yoga class out in the spacious back patio, enjoyed daily walks to the beach ( about a 3-5minute walk to the sand), cooked many meals, dined on the enclosed side porch, and walked and biked into town. Highlights of this unique cottage are definitely location, overall design and aesthetic, and a well-appointed rental. TIP: Make sure you bring your own linens and towels- we did not realize they were not included in the rental. Debra put us in touch with a local linen rental company who thankfully came to our rescue! But had it been the high season- I don't think we would have had as much luck. We would love to rent these properties again with a larger group and rent the two homes side by side. Would be a perfect setup for multi-generations beach vacation. Go and stay at The Pines Cottage, you will LOVE it!

We are a group of friends that try to get together once a year at Rehoboth Beach. Unfortunately we hadn’t been able to do it for a few years. Having rented a different cottage from the same owner, we contacted VRBO for availability. This cottage was amazing! Clean, recently redecorated and has a great porch! She even had someone come put the porch clear covers on as it was getting cold out and a night of rain was forecast. Would highly recommend this cottage! We had a great time!

Charming home in a great location; half a block to the beach, short walk into town for restaurants and shops. In a quiet area that meant we enjoyed a lot of time on the wonderful screen porch that runs the length of the side of the house. The host was super-responsive and shared lots of great info on the local area. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully furnished beach house and sprawling screen porch, just one block from the beach. We loved easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants, eating and teleworking on the screen porch, and the outdoor shower. Will definitely return!

This cottage is beautifully renovated and feels more like a boutique hotel than a beach rental. The layout accommodates 2 families comfortably and the professionally designed details create a luxe interior within a modest, authentic cottage. When not at the beach (an easy 1/2 block walk away) we spent the majority of our time on the spacious screened-in porch. It was the perfect place for big dinners, games and movie night! The owner and property manager were readily available and take pride in maintaining a clean, fully-equipped property and ensuring an enjoyable stay for guests. We look forward to returning to 20 Oak Ave!
