Tunisia's Best House
The owner of this house has a talent for making special memories for tourists
If you want to get a different experience on this trip, I recommend you book his house
His house is clean and he is diligent and passionate, he will do his best to present you with a trip without regrets
I really loved the time I talked with him and the other guests in the central hall

This is the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in. Toutou is a fantastic, thoughtful host. He made me feel very welcome in the lovely local neighborhood of Hammam Sousse, and gave me tons of info on how to enjoy Tunisia. He also makes a spectacular omelette! The rooms are great, the breakfast was fantastic, the neighborhood is lively and quaint. A short taxi to the medina, louage station, and the beach. All around great value. Thanks for everything!

This place has a genuine feel, with a friendly host and tasty breakfast. It's like being at home. If you prefer a more modern setting, you might want to check out other options. Here, you'll experience the real Tunisian way of living. Keep in mind, though, that it's a bit far from everything. But don't worry, taxis are very cheap in Tunisia generally and Sousse specially, so you can get around easily.

The atmosphere was very cozy and the staff was super friendly. The room was also very nicely made. The staff prepared freshly baked cookies with your name on them which was very welcoming. The AC unit was also very good and can keep you comfortable even at 44 degrees outside temperature.
The owner also organises tours which are very cheap compared to the others. He is also very resourceful and can get you anything available upon request.
It might be a bit away from the city and sometimes need to walk about 800m to get a taxi. Other than that I do not have other suggestions for the hotel as it was a very pleasant stay

Very friendly and accommodating manager. Breakfast and the couscous meals were delicious. Even laundry service is available. The manager brought us on a tour to Monastir, which was a special experience. Very good price performance ratio.

Beautiful home, very clean and well-kept by the owner, confortable rooms, good ac and wifi, nice kitchen to cook yourself. Everything perfect! The owner is very attentive and will make your stay wonderful.
The only bad thing is that the couscous portion we ordered for dinner was so big we couldn’t finish in one sitting, but it was delicious!!

I liked the housing style and the room which I got.very clean and cozy.

The bread that they are making for breakfast is so so so delicious. Majdi is so helpful and can easily make your trip here perfect with his recommendations.

The breakfast was amazing and well thought with the presentation. It was quiet and the location was easy to remember. The fast shops were a delight as well.

The house is a traditional Tunisian one and anyone will come there, he will enjoy staying in that beautiful and clean house
Also Majdi or toutou as he loves to be called is very friendly and funny. I really enjoyed hanging out with him and his friend Saif. They are very kind and have a beautiful smile.
Recommended Dar Hkaïem for everyone wanna stay in Sousse

I liked my stay in this classic blue and white arab house which has an inner yard. I felt like a king in the castle. Personally I like to learn about the local culture and history, when I'm travelling. And Dar Hkaiem is ideal for that. It was a much better experience than staying in a hotel room (which are similar all around the world).
The place is situated in residential area, not very far from the beach and not far from the taxi (louage) station. I liked to closely see the everyday life of local people.
