The staff is accommodating. The rooftop cafe although under renovation currently is a great spot . The food is good as well .

We had a great stay at The Sierra. The hotel is beautifully decorated and our room was very spacious, we especially enjoyed the little window seat to sit and read on. The beds were super comfy and we had some of our best nights sleep in India at The Sierra. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we got some laundry done here and it was ready within a few hours, and they arranged a taxi to the airport for us. The rooftop café has a lovely view of the lake and the food and service was good.

The location was a bit away from the main sights of Udaipur but easily reached within a 10-15 min tuk tuk ride, it didn’t bother us as we enjoyed the more peaceful surroundings but might bother some. We also didn’t have breakfast included with our room but still took it for ease however at 350rs it was quite expensive for India and didn’t have too much choice.

Smell in the bathroom is not so good . I think sewage is just down below first floor and the smells of that is directly affecting bathroom fresh air . I complained the same to reception

Great hotel. Must stay. Very clean and hospitable

This is a small hotel with big rooms, done tastefully and had all amenities. The AC was excellent. The lounge bar on the roof top was crowded and the place had a nice vibe least expected in a small town. The food was exceptional and service was efficient. What stood out was that the bar inspite of being crowded, our two pet dogs were welcomed and loved.

Location, though therecwere several other hotels in the neighbourhood. This is not exactly by the lake, so don't expect much by way of views. You can however technically see the lake at a distance as well as the hills.

The bathroom had a weird smell but got rectified quickly by staff. The view is not as mentioned in the photos, the hotel is away from the lake.

The rooms were spacious and clean with soothing interiors. The hotel team was friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay.

The property is ideal for a quieter stay but close to the centre of the city. the restaurant provides excellent food and great views over the lake. The staff are amazing. they are so kind and helpful with everything needed and suggestions of how to best visit the sites.

The only downside is that the pool is hidden on the side of the property and didn’t look very clean when we stayed.

Everything was perfect!!

The staff were helpful. The room was quite large, and comfortable for two people, only let being the bathroom. Provided hair dryer which worked well enough. There was live music on the top floor where the medium sized bar/restaurant is. only 4 floors of hotel rooms and the top level. Small hotel overall. Did not use the pool but that is small too, and located in a side courtyard of the property. The top floor where the bar/restaurant is has a great view of other surrounding buildings and some distant old palaces/forts/hotels on the hills. It was easy to pay by card for the hotel booking on site. They provide invoices as well if required.

There was a strong sewerage smell out of the bathroom. The breakfast provided that was on display (toast, cereal, muffins, some curries, fruits) was stale, especially the toast and cereal. They did however have fresh puri you could request and made eggs for you. The location was in a small back street of the area, which was fine as we used a car/driver to get around. It is a bit of a walk to the main street and I did not feel safe doing that on my own as a female. The view of the lake is moreso a smaller inlet from the main lake, there is no view of the main palace or main lake part from Sierra.
