The house had everything we needed for a great week

Very nice place. Really liked the house. Short walk to the beach. Short drive to Lewes for meals and shopping. Needed a plan to manage the mosquitos.

Lovely, bright and spacious place with all the amenities. Would definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful home only steps from the beach. We could not have been happier with the condition of the house and its location. The bunk room was great for kids and the living areas were open and spacious for hanging out. The house was well stocked with new appliances and there were plenty of beach toys, chairs, fishing poles, etc. to have have a wonderful time at the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was everything they said it was. The house was beautiful and the area was quiet. A short walk to the bay where we spent a lot of time. We would definitely rent this house again!

Excellent, comfortable space. Close proximity to the beach. We would definitely rent this house again if we return to Broadkill Beach.

Our family had a great week at 8 Texas Avenue. The house is gorgeous and comes with a lot of thoughtful amenities. It's just a short walk to the beach. Great communication with the host with an easy check-in/out procedure. We highly recommend this property and would rent it again.

This is a beautiful house with everything we needed and more. Really appreciated the comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Loved the beach and the chill vibe of the community. Will definitely return to Broadkill and would rent here again.

House was very nice, It was spacious with an efficient layout. It was very well equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Everything in the house was fresh and new. The kitchen had every tool and appliance you need, as well as lovely dishes and platters to serve a big group. The beach was perfect.

Great stay! Great House!

This is the second time we have stayed at this house and love it! It is in a great location, close to the beach, quiet and perfect for a family getaway. The kitchen is well stocked, extremely clean and comfortable! I would highly recommend this house and I am sure we will be staying again!

We were pleased that the house was so clean and well-stocked with kitchen tools and beach gear (but note there was a single roll of toilet paper, no other paper products, and literally only one salt shaker, nothing else food-wise). We would rent again!

This is a wonderful, clean, well stocked house in a great location. Very quiet and relaxing with a very short walk to the beach. Loved the kitchen, deck, and full sized washer dryer. The entryway was great to keep beach bags etc. and having extra sand chairs was also very nice. I did reach out twice to ask about a clogged toilet and the very low water pressure in the outdoor shower but only received a reply about the toilet which was already resolved. I wish the pet fee was a deposit rather than a fee as $300 is a lot. I realize some dogs can be rambunctious and have accidents and ruin things, but my dog is not one of those. Some properties charge much less. Obviously it was worth it for me to bring him since I chose to pay it but I’m not sure I’d pay the fee again.

The property was exactly as described and the location was amazing (just a short walk to the beach). Beach was fairly private which was great for morning walks with my dog. The house had everything we needed and more. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very nice beach property! Clean and renovated, check in was a breeze. Property manager is very accessible and provides timely responses. Also very accommodating when I left my wallet. Overall excellent experience!

Everything was wonderful. The four stars in terms of overall stay is due to air conditioning on second floor not working which cause two uncomfortable evenings in one of the bedrooms.

Dear Melnik family - We cannot thank you enough for sharing your beautiful beach house with us once again! Kids loved the new swing and I enjoyed my usual spot on the upper deck. You provided everything we needed to prepare meals & enjoy games, lego building & puzzles around the huge table… the weather was wonderful all week from sun up to sun down. The house was clean, spacious, and exactly as pictured. It was even closer to the beach than we had hoped, and we loved the amenities with the house (outdoor shower, sand toys, beach chairs, swings, etc). It was a great place for our young children and extended family, and felt like home for a week; I already want to go back!

This house was a perfect house for our family. The home was extremely clean upon arrival, and the swing outside was perfect for my kids. That’s all they wanted to do when we weren’t at the beach! The walk to the beach was very short, and the location was perfect! We loved our stay at broadkill!

My wife and I had a great time with our daughters and grandkids. Private beach was just steps away and the open floor plan was perfect. We'll be back.

This is our 3rd year in a row staying in this area. House was amazing, had everything you could want or need. Location is ideal (can't actually get a bad spot in Broadkill) beds were comfy, kitchen well appointed, plenty of room to spread out for all of us. Lots of games or rainy day activities in the house too. Had a great time and will definitely return!

We had an amazing time in this house. It was clean and spacious. It is updated and nicely decorated. Many homes still have 90’s decor, but this one is modern, so it feels really nice. We had plenty of space to do online work too. Internet connection was very fast and adequate. Kitchen fully equipped. The beach was great too for nice walks and play with a 5 year old.

This is a gorgeous home, perfectly oufitted with anything and everything you need. This is also the first property I have ever stayed in that had great kitchen implements which made cooking a dream. This is the perfect home for two families to stay in, plenty of room. And if, as it was for us, the weather does not cooperate the master has a lovely fireplace and sunroom, perfect wifi, and fun games. Thanks for letting us stay here!
