For context, we came to visit about 2 weeks after a hurricane so keep that in mind.
The house itself appeared to be struggling in its construction. There was a water spot on the ceiling of the bunk room that actually shed some plaster and it was still wet to touch. The flooring had many gaps where it looked like they ran out of material and the bottom floor had an area where the floor was really uneven. There weren’t enough dishes in the house for our group of 10 so things like forks were a hot commodity for us and there weren’t any pot holders provided so we had to make do with some dish towels we found.
All that said, the property was very clean and management was super responsive when I contacted them (there was an issue with the sheets in one of the bedrooms and they had someone there within an hour to do a complete linen change for us). There were more than enough towels for all of us which really was so nice and laundry detergent and toilet paper was all supplied which we’ve learned is not always the case. Also, checkout was so simple. Many places want you to do all their chores for them on checkout and that wasn’t the case here. They simply asked us to take out the trash, do the dishes and leave linens on the floor. It made loading up our crew way less stressful and we truly appreciated it.
Overall, the house served our needs and treated our families well. I’m sure that many of the troubles with the house were related to issues brought by the weather.

The house was wonderful for our group of three families with young kids! Clean, well-stocked, and it has excellent common spaces with lots of seating and room to play. Daniel is a pro at managing a vacation rental and it appeared in all the details. We would definitely rent this house again.
This was our sixth stay in Pointe West and it was great as always. We prefer the bay side because of the great sunsets and proximity to the family pool. Our kids love riding through tunnel on the golf cart to the beach too.

The property was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed, including kitchen items, bath items, and pantry items. All of the sheets and towels are provided and or ample. The house was also beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Pointe West home. The rooms and balconies are all large allowing opportunities for hanging out together as well as providing quiet space for reading or rest. The kitchen had everything we needed to easily prepare meals. There was ample room at the table for all of us (11) to gather for meals.
The five children enjoyed the downstairs bedroom with bunk beds and one slept on the sleeper sofa. All other bedrooms are located on the second floor as is the laundry area. Bedding was comfortable and towels were fresh and clean. This house has four large balconies where you can view gorgeous sunsets nightly! We loved our family time in this beautiful and comfortable vacation home❤️
Daniel made check in and out quick and easy.

We had an amazing stay in Galveston. The house was so beautiful and the views from each balcony were wonderful! The house was very clean and beautifully kept! We loved the super close beach access and you can pull your car right up to the water and just unload everything and play or relax! The pools were also very nice and well kept! The house was amazing for us traveling with little ones, the baby gates and cribs made our stay and travel that much easier!

The pictures don’t do this house justice! It was spotlessly clean and smelt great! All of the beds were so comfortable and the sheets were soft. Daniel really knows what he’s doing with this rental! We had 14 people aged 3 to 83 and everyone said this was the BEST vacation house they had ever stayed in. We will be back again for sure in the future!!

Multigeneration family weekend was amazing in this beautiful home. Host was responsive to all needs (and went above and beyond to get a special teddy bear back to us when it was accidentally left behind). Hope to come back soon!

We arrived and gaining access to the home and beach club were easy and smooth. The master bedroom and bathroom were spacious and the beds comfortable.
The home itself was as advertised and there were several handy appliances in the kitchen such as a rice cooker, air fryer, griddle, and large skillet for cooking. The knives and some of the utensils could use replacing. Although I realize it’s almost impossible to keep knives in good condition with a rental property. It would have been nice to have a dish scrubber or something for washing pots and pans. We also needed to run and purchase a cookie sheet/roasting pan as there was nothing there. There were several toys for the beach but I’d suggest purchasing your own boogie boards as the majority were already cracked and breaking.
Daniel was responsive to any problems or questions and had the air conditioner fixed/replaced the next day after bringing it to his attention.
The beach club itself was under some construction and we never did find the community room or the little restaurant. The pools were great and one was in easy walking distance from the home. The kids definitively enjoyed having 2 pools and hot tubs to enjoy. I was under the impression that the beachfront was a little closer to the home. With towels and gear, you definitely need to plan of driving over.
We enjoyed Galveston overall and enjoyed having a comfortable place to come home to.

This place was perfect for the 2 families with young kids. The house was beautiful, very clean and quietly located between the bay and Oceanside. The house had plenty of beach toys for the young kids to take to the beach and we loved being able to use the heated pool, hot tub and lazy river which is a quick walk (this pool house is located right in the neighborhood).
The owner was very quick to respond and made the check-in and out seem less. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

It was a perfect house for our family. The weather was a bit ugly and the heated lazy river was not working, but the hot tub was great for the kids and grandkids. We are a foodie family and the kitchen had all kinds of specialty things, including an awesome air fryer!! Mattresses were great. I need to find out what the brand is, never slept better!!!

We stayed for the Lonestar Rally. We like to be out of town where it is quiet for the night time. This is a beautiful home and just as advertised. We will be staying here again.

This house is perfection! The porches are beautiful and the sunsets are wonderful. We enjoyed eating outside and lounging on the couches. The restoration hardware furniture in this house is amazing and the beds are fab! Stay here!

The house was just as described and truly a great house for a large group. We had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well kept. Daniel was easy to get a hold of when needed and super helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! It was perfect for multiple families. We had some rainy mornings, but the house was so amazing it didn’t matter. Daniel was such an amazing host! He was quick to answer any questions that came up before/during our stay and very accommodating! I booked the stay and planned the trip for our group, which always adds pressure, but everyone was SO impressed with the trip. The resort also included really nice amenities. We loved both pools. The beach was so nice and quiet, and we even walked down to watch the sunrise on our last morning. I wasn’t ready to leave and I’m already thinking about booking again!

Everyone had a blast and the house was just as pretty as the pics and fully stocked. I was a little surprised that with all the kitchen offered, we didn’t have wine glasses. First time ever. But that was a tiny hiccup compared to how perfect everything else was. And Daniel was so friendly, easy to contact, and super fast to respond. Couldn’t ask for more!

Beach Bliss

All we hoped for and more...
We've stayed at Point West 4 years and this is the first time on the bayside. It was wonderful! Sunsets on one balcony and sunrise on the other. The pond for fishing and crabbing out our backdoor for the kids was perfect, too. The home was comfortable and spacious for the 14 of us. We spent so much time on the balcony so that was just an extra living space as well. We loved the longer golf cart ride to the beach actually! We'll be back!

Great beach property
Great location on the far end of the island. The water is cleaner and the beach less crowded. The house is about a half mile walk to the gulf side, which is where you would want to swim or hand out. If that’s too far, there is a parking area and you can drive to the edge of the boardwalk. The bay side is across the street for fishing, but not good to swim in.
The house is fantastic for families or large groups, with plenty of beds. There is an outside shower and tables at the ground level.
Loved staying here and would highly recommend.

Great Beach Vacation
My family and I started our summer with a stay at this fabulous home, and we enjoyed it! The home was clean, spacious, close to the beach, fishing, pools and much more. The home included all the essentials we typically forget thus making our stay very accommodating. If you’re looking for a home on a nice quiet side of the beach on a fabulous resort, I highly recommend this beautiful home!

The house was perfect for a family reunion. We had 10 people ranging from 2 to 72 and it was great to have everyone under one room for 3 nights. The house was large with an open floor plan with lots of decks to enjoy both indoors and outdoor spaces.
The location itself was great, with various pools in the complex and easy access to beaches.
This is not a con, but an FYI it is quite a hike from any retail stores or restaurants and we couldn't find anything that would deliver, so be prepared to drive 15 mins each way for pizza or to shop accordingly on arrival. We had a child who needed to see a Dr. in the middle of the night and ended up driving 40 mins to the only hospital on the island.
I think its a perfect house on a great secluded part of the island and would go there again, but be mindful of how far from the city part of the island it is.
